I'm wandering what y'all's experience is with running the sword between the different classes. Warlock, Titan, Hunter. Which one does it better or worse?

I love how everyone hates on the warlocks saying self res is a crutch. But isn't going invis as a hunter a crutch and takes away the fear of not getting out in time before crota bitch slaps you? Lol I think all classes are good I started with a warlock because my bro and friend had a titan and a hunter. Tried playing as a hunter before made it to lvl 14 just gave up I was decent with a warlock I knew my class now I have 3 ( I know im a scrub cheese fag etc.) I personally don't care who has sword as long as we beat crota without 50 wipes. Lol

Titan jump is about all they offer. Yea yea bubble but that can be provided by a 2nd Titan and you'll get their orbs for super. That jump tho can get you to Crota ASAP for max sword time. Warlock revive allows recovery for hard. Everyone is usually safely lined up in center so killing oversoul is non issue. Radiant skin (armor) plus the helm that regens hp on super makes them a straight tank. Some of the fastest times have been done with a Warlock. Hunter obviously has the tools for maximum hits per knee. A good Hunter is there, safe, and swinging even with a bad group that struggles with shield. Give them a few orbs and you have a reliable class to 2 sword Crota.

1 답변What about the warlocks blink? I only see people talking about the double jump..is blink no good here?

All three are good in different ways Warlock, if your team doesn't not have Ghorn's or proper fire power. it takes a little more time to down crota. so the slow ass warlock is good for that. also good for damage output Hunter, good for cloaking/blink strike/vanish and get good timing with sword for max damage output. Titian good for jumping straight up and making that triple down super easy also max damage output. Try not to agro boomers tho going up the middle

1 답변작성자: Guardian9176 1/30/2015 6:12:08 PMI've run the sword with all three and it's basically the same with Titan and warlock. So tied really as hunter is the easiest. Edit: so many people saying warlock. The fact is you can easily get 4 hits with any of the three classes every time if you wanted to with good timing. I got 5 hits for a kill the other day as a warlock and most people can barely pull that off with a hunter.

It amazes me the people who say Hunter is worse for sword. That is by far the easiest class to run it. Sing you go invis before jumping up and invis in between hits you don't even have to deal with boomers. The hunter then goes invis again and makes it anywhere he wants to get safe till next sword turn. There is a reason EVERYONE on the forums is asking for a competent Hunter to run sword.

5 답변Novice: Hunter Moderate: Warlock Expert: Titan Novice being the easiest to use the sword requiring minimal coordination and timing while yielding maximum dps even with PuGs Moderate does require some coordination to get the best bang your buck. Warlocks aren't quite as fast as but their jump is superior to Hunters allowing for a faster jump and easier time maneuvering to and from Crota. More often than not, overlooked in favor of hunters and not quite as independent as Titans they should perform well with PuGs. Expert requires the most skill in my opinion. With a Titan as the only class I've noticed that can consistently get damage for three kneels on one sword while providing their own support without assistance to survive. It also requires a very coordinated team ideally one the bearer is familiar with.

3 답변Honestly I would say the warlock is at a disadvantage because it's so easy to make a mistake with that awful jump they have. I'm terrible at running sword with my warlock.

1 답변I would say it goes like this from worst to best: Warlock- Double jump is very floaty and takes too long to ascend. Titan- Double jump Ascends rather quickly, but it's over time Hunter- Jumps are quickly executed and ascend the quickest of any class. (Best use either high jump or triple jump)

I think Titan is worst. With hunter you can stay up because of invisibility, with warlock you hit radiance, reduce incoming damage and spam fusion grenades at the Swordbearer. Titan has his bubble but you'd rather someone else do that for you so yeah... Titan is my least favourite when I'm Swordbearer.

3 답변I do worst on my lock. I have all 3 as well and the glide is so slow I always feel vulnerable

As a warlock I will admit it's probably warlocks. Our jumps are slow, making our getaways slower, we can take mess damage than a Titan whose jump is better. Hunters, specifically blade dancers are the ideal players as they can turn invisible after the first 3 slams. Wait for their team to down Crota, then slam again and get away easily.
