I'm sure many of you know this "Sam Legacy" character who claims to be an insider, or is connected to someone on the inside. Apparently Xur's inventory is decided via committee vote, with the "team leader" getting the final say. It seems he has been fairly accurate, most recently tweeting on January 6th that TLW was most likely, and sure enough that's what it was on the 9th.
Could be a lucky guess, but for me, this week will determine if he has any credibility. I do feel bad for Bungie, that there is a possibility someone on their team is violating their trust and leaking information.
His Twitter: FRAUD
TLW prediction on the 6th: FRAUD
Prediction for the this week (16th): FRAUD
MORNING WALK OF SHAME EDIT: In my opinion, Sam Legacy is a fraud. He hit 25%, and that one he did hit was out of three weapons. This guy has no connection to Bungie, and is just really good at guessing. On his Twitter, he claims that he had to "predict" other items because they would be changed. Clueless people are praising him like he actually had something to do with IB. I chalk that up to people's excitement for getting such a high profile weapon.

Since he sold a primary last week, and red death was only sold week one and has never come up again, I am placing my bet that it will be either the truth rocket launcher or plan c fusion rifle. IB is to op for some encounters and like gjallerhorn it will probably never be sold again. Xur has also been on a schedule with engrams and heavy synth. Last week it was synth but no engrams and the week before it was the other way around. They have been doing this for a while and people still don't see the pattern. His last engram two weeks ago was for arms so it will probably be a helm this week.

2 답변Everyone shouldnt have made such a big deal and post crap on the forums. Should have said pm me if you want to know something pretty cool. Those who respond-you tell. Those that choose to ignore - find out jack shit. Pretty simple, of course some dumbass would make a post about shit tho. Deej is community manager, of course he is part of the 9 (if not the final voice). It makes complete sense. He patrols the forums, so he knows what everyone wants with all the posts about them. He looks at the polls to see what the community thinks, he's the link between the forums and the office. Yea he says he wants Thunderlord and if Xur wasn't RNG he would have it. Half true, cleverly worded. Xur is more than likely RNG to start off with, and is modified by whether or not they are comfortable with what weapons and items he is selling. If they are they mostly leave it alone . Maybe change a thing out or in, like heavy ammo, the telemetries, exotic engram. If he sells something Bungie isn't comfortable with, they choose 3 weapons based on community feedback - most desired, least desired, middle ground. Probably look at user polls (and the game data they have access to) to decide to see how many people have what weapons as well. Thunderlord and Obsidian Mind were more than likely up for vote when Deej posted a tweet about Xur being RNG and said he was hoping for Thunderlord and Obsidian Mind. Probably meant he voted for them, but the other 8 saw it differently and voted for something else (I believe that was No Land Beyond week). So yea he was " hoping" for Thunderlord and Obsidian Mind, but the vote didn't go the way. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy's right but now just to prove him wrong and save face, Bungie changes inventory. Look through his tweets and he says something just like that cause its been leaked. It's an out clause for him if he's wrong. What makes me chuckle is why would he include Deej in his tweets when spilling beans. Deej doesn't deny it either in his response either, just says if Xur wasn't RNG he'd have thunderlord. Also, interesting that if he been calling it out for 10 weeks, how Bungie hasn't taken notice.....he was wrong recently when he claimed it was going to IB a few weeks back with dragons breath, but he someone posted a private message of him saying the day before it was gonna be IB but it leaked so it was Dragons Breath.

2 답변Well since bungie is the one who picks what Xur will sell and they already saw this, expect Xur not selling any of this shit

2 답변There's no way Xur CAN'T be RNG because you can change the date on PS4 and change his inventory (albeit you can't buy anything). If it was decided by people, changing the date wouldn't do anything.

작성자: Bieltan 1/16/2015 12:18:19 AMHes posing as an employee, and that will probably stop pretty sharpish once activisions legal department track him down. However, you have to wonder if he has somehow gleaned an insight into Xur. If he IS RNG maybe theres a way to work out his invent (set your clock forward repeatedly and take note of what his most stocked weapons and items are) or if hes not, which I doubt, maybe he has a source? Deffo not an employee though. And judging by his tweets before he started his posing, a complete douchelord of the highest degree.

The most important is not the source but the truth about Xur. We all know that he is not RNG. Remember the last message from Bungie before Xmas holidays. We can see clearly Last Word. After Xmas, Xur sold what… Last Word.

4 답변Sam Legacy? That sounds like a porn name. Pretty cool. But, he's taking 3 guesses so anyone can do that and odds are that a certain percentage would be right for 2 weeks in a row. Everyone post up 3 weapons you think xur will sell. I will prove my point

2 답변I predict all the guns he mentioned will be for upgrade and not for sale. Which would make me happy as I got a 1.0 Icebreaker from the VOG a few weeks back..

16 답변Xur is definitely not RNG, which explains why they don't rotate through all merchandise on a regular basis.

13 답변Sam Legacy doesn't have a badge, but he does have a very particular set of skills, skills he's acquired over a very long career of posting on these forums

The kid is a troll and has been wrong plenty of times. He also gives options. If he said exactly what Xur was selling every week for the next two months and was 100% accurate every time then he'd move beyond "troll" status. Right now all the kid is is Destiny's equivalent of a fortune teller... they make insightful guesses that are open to interpretation.

Didn't DeeJ admit that Xür was not RNG? Wasn't it on a podcast or something? Insider information isn't rare. Personally I don't know of this Sam Legacy, but if he's been accurate, it seems quite possible that he may be a leak.

6 답변Fun thought experiment, if you were Bungie now, what would you sell? I personally believe that Xur is RNG, but even if Xur is, they have the ability to change it. And since we now have a position from Bungie, they can't really go ahead and sell red death, hard light or ice breaker. So if that comes up as the roll, I think they will just re-roll. (Or just redo the algorithm or whatever). And they won't ghorn, because sam_legacy predicted they would soon and then could just claim being right about that and that it's just a plot to pacify us. Universal remote, no land beyond, truth, dragon's breath, plan C, and the last word would be met with a lot of disappointment. So that leaves: Mida, Suros, Patience and Time, and thunderlord. So there's my_legacy prediction: mida or suros or Patience and Time or thunderlord.
