I'm sure many of you know this "Sam Legacy" character who claims to be an insider, or is connected to someone on the inside. Apparently Xur's inventory is decided via committee vote, with the "team leader" getting the final say. It seems he has been fairly accurate, most recently tweeting on January 6th that TLW was most likely, and sure enough that's what it was on the 9th.
Could be a lucky guess, but for me, this week will determine if he has any credibility. I do feel bad for Bungie, that there is a possibility someone on their team is violating their trust and leaking information.

TLW prediction on the 6th: FRAUD
Prediction for the this week (16th): FRAUD
MORNING WALK OF SHAME EDIT: In my opinion, Sam Legacy is a fraud. He hit 25%, and that one he did hit was out of three weapons. This guy has no connection to Bungie, and is just really good at guessing. On his Twitter, he claims that he had to "predict" other items because they would be changed. Clueless people are praising him like he actually had something to do with IB. I chalk that up to people's excitement for getting such a high profile weapon.

The votes are in. Nobody cares about that guy. Didn't even know who he was until just now. I had the choice between chasing the -blam!-s I had to give down, or biting this breakfast sandwich again. ...Mmmm. Bacon. ~Ricochet

Sounds like a crappy guesser. Out of all of his guesses, the only one that came true was Ice Breaker. No helmet engrams, no heavy ammo synths no radiant dance machine. I think we can officially debunk this guy as a fake. Anyone can get lucky on the primary gun Xur is selling when you guess THREEE of them. Derrrr.

7 답변Sam Legacy is a shithead... CONFIRMED No Radiant Dance Machines, Engram or synthesis. Icebreaker was a lucky guess.

3 답변Yet another week motes will continue to pile up. How am I disappointed even though I have most exotic helms already? :)

I just checked out Sam Legacy's twitter page, that guy is just plain creepy. He said "see ya in the office tomorrow DeeJ." Idk about DeeJ, but i'd be scared shitless if he actually isn't a bungie employee

6 답변Why do so many people believe this nonsense. Deej already confirmed that this was bogus. Probably based on the fact that the system this troll described as how they pick what xur sells in no way resembles there actual system. So the troll is obvious. It would be obvious that this is not an employee or anyone who has access to an employee. In fact I'm pretty sure the xur roll is RNG, although I can't remember where I read that. So not 100 percent sure, but it's most likely. All of you that believe this nonsense will feel real stupid when this troll stops getting lucky and his guesses turn out wrong for the next five weeks in a row. Obvious troll is obvious!

His Twitter: http://twitter.com/Sam_Legacy TLW prediction on the 6th: http://twitter.com/Sam_Legacy/status/552447098973863938 Prediction for the this week (16th): http://twitter.com/Sam_Legacy/status/555597937737486336 I anticipate people complaining about linking these, but since I was able to find the information with a 3 second Google search without knowing much about this situation, this is far from groundbreaking. Edit 1: Wouldn't it be wild if Bungie was behind the Sam Legacy leak, in order to manufacture conspiracy to create a buzz? Edit 2: DeeJ has responded that Sam Legacy is not a Bungie employee. Thank you for taking the time to respond, DeeJ. However, it is his job to speak for Bungie. I really don't think DeeJ would come out and say "Yep, we've got a leak, and Xur is not RNG". These servers would explode. Or, this Sam guy is just really lucky sometimes. Speculation is fun! Edit 3: It won't be long until we have some answers! I'll believe it if Sam hits 75% on his "prediction". Like many have said, if it isn't accurate at all, he can easily say that this thread and it's attention caused a change. I appreciate everyone's input, as there have been some good discussions going on. Surprisingly, the senseless hate has been at a minimum, which is appreciated as well.
4 답변If Xur's weapons are chosen why would they choose Plan C twice? Afaik the guy had a few lucky guesses. Maybe he even found the formula that determines what Xur sells, hence why he's posting the chances on items. (An RNG would pick between the items that came from the formula)

2 답변all of xur items, he got IB right :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcfNV8_awsk&list=UUOo3ukBNI5X0quYB_DdxW1g

1 답변I voted "I don't care", simply because none of the other options are correct. He's definitely not legit, which this proves undoubtedly. And he's not a clever troll at all. Only morons believed him in the first place.

2 답변Hard Light, Red Death, or... IB! Radiant dance machines Helm engram Heavy ammo. That is all I can confirm. I never said GHorn. Enjoy & GN 😴 That is what Sam wrote. NOTHING except IB was correct. So, no, he is not legit.

3 답변작성자: Noctroglyph 1/16/2015 4:47:43 AMThis guy claims to be a Bungie insider that is a part of "the group of nine " that decide what Xur sells, and you say if he is right 75% of the time that validates his claim? I call bullshit. 100% or he's a troll. TBH, this guy lost all credibility when he said DeeJ was the ringleader. No employer puts employees in positions where a conflict of interest would exist. DeeJ being Bungie's CM and determining what items to sell the community is quite a conflict of interest. I may be wrong, but at this point, I doubt this guy is anything but a troll that is laughing his ass off at the general gullibility of the fans to a little applied statistical analysis, and covers his ass by stating any discrepancies are last minute subs by DeeJ.
