I'm sure many of you know this "Sam Legacy" character who claims to be an insider, or is connected to someone on the inside. Apparently Xur's inventory is decided via committee vote, with the "team leader" getting the final say. It seems he has been fairly accurate, most recently tweeting on January 6th that TLW was most likely, and sure enough that's what it was on the 9th.
Could be a lucky guess, but for me, this week will determine if he has any credibility. I do feel bad for Bungie, that there is a possibility someone on their team is violating their trust and leaking information.
His Twitter: FRAUD
TLW prediction on the 6th: FRAUD
Prediction for the this week (16th): FRAUD
MORNING WALK OF SHAME EDIT: In my opinion, Sam Legacy is a fraud. He hit 25%, and that one he did hit was out of three weapons. This guy has no connection to Bungie, and is just really good at guessing. On his Twitter, he claims that he had to "predict" other items because they would be changed. Clueless people are praising him like he actually had something to do with IB. I chalk that up to people's excitement for getting such a high profile weapon.

When he sold dragon breath Sam said "it's going to be hot" like if it breathes fire.. Then he got quick ban. Minutes later he made a post about his acts and left the acronym ice breaker. If xur isn't Rng and bungie can choose what weapon to give out then they could had easily change his item pool. Ex: A) the last word was sold to reel in pvp players the week other major pvp games were being released. Gjhallahorn is their last resort when a major game is release. Wait on it.

462 답변작성자: DeeJ 1/16/2015 6:03:43 PMSam Legacy is not a member of the Community team at Bungie. That's just me and Urk. If you want to verify official comments from a Bungie employee entrusted to speak to you on our behalf, always ask to see a badge on this forum. It's blue. That said, your collective enthusiasm and speculation about what Xur is carrying is awesome. EDITED FOR CLARITY.

Sam Legacy is a bright individual who knows how to play probability and read patterns to "FORECAST" the weapons that are likely to drop. I know lots of people who excel at doing this kind of stuff. He's a fun source to look at because he generates excitement and he knows how to market himself. While he's a great Destiny meteorologist, he's no insider as DeeJ has indicated. He's a great weatherman though :)

3 답변작성자: TheMarr 1/17/2015 8:33:29 PMI have been following this guy for 3 weeks, and he has changed his story a few times. When he started, he "knew a guy". Then he became an employee. Then he went from "a guy who works there" to a specific role, and actually has a hand in deciding Xur's inventory. Now he has progressed to a full fledged Bungie communications guy, who is routinely including DeeJ in his tweets, including stuff like "Hey man, see you at the office tomorrow!" Two weeks ago he was dead wrong, as he called the Icebreaker. He then "proved the unbelievers wrong" by showing some weird message from his "friend" at Bungie. Although the time stamp on the message was prior to Xur releasing his inventory, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that prior to Xur releasing his inventory he could just exchange 20 messages with a random friend saying "If its not IB it is xxxxxx Exotic". When its not IB as predicted, he just pulls out whatever message suits the exotic that was actually being sold. He even had the audacity to blame his own prediction as the reason the IB was not sold. Last night, I was searching for a clear prediction from him on his twitter, and he was quite ambiguous about it. "It could be IB, Hard Light,....." Etc etc. Fact of the matter is that his prognostication has not been bulletproof. In reality it has been quite vague. The fact that his story has changed so much leads one to believe that he is a shyster. The way he has created a big story behind a vague prediction has all the hallmarks of a con man. My personal belief: He MIGHT know someone who works at bungie, and he MIGHT even be right about the fact that Xur's inventory is chosen. Even if that is all true, this seems to have gotten away from him and has exploded into a pile of bullshit.

3 답변BTW many are now stating that because Sam Legacy's claims are vague, misleading, or just entirely false, Xur must be RNG. I have still seen no conclusive evidence to prove that he is RNG. At the very least I believe his inventory must be weighted in order to create exclusivity and, by extension, hype surrounding certain weapons.

4 답변He said he knows somebody that works for Bungie that know what exotics are going to be sold, he was right 7 week in a row before he was banned

3 답변Sam Legacy is wrong. Xur is RNG just like everything else in this damn game. Watch this: Confirmed! I talked to my Magic 8 Ball and asked it several questions, shaking it vigorously each time and using my skills as a psychic to read answers through all the blue bubbles. Next week's Xur inventory: Weapon: Gjallarhorn, Universal Remote, or Hard Light. 8 ball was quite sure about Hard Light but Ghorn and UR were "hazy" and I dropped the ball and all the blue stuff spilled out so I can't "ask again later" as the ball commanded. Hunter: Don't Touch Me Warlock: Heart of the Praxic Fire Titan: MK Whatever Number Stand Asides Chest engram Heavy ammo synth

9 답변Has anyone read his past tweets? I did and can tell he was a fraud. All you have to do is see his past tweets and you can tell this was no alt account until he assumed the role of Sam Legacy. I laughed hard when he tried to delete his instragram posts and cover his identity. I liked the shirt Sam? Or should I say........

작성자: Gibraltor 1/16/2015 7:27:05 PMHahaha, love this! Can't believe people are praising him when only one thing was right. I would have loved for that exotic helm piece, but sadly no. Bungie could you please make engrams a weekly thing with Xür, im a little irritated at my lack of use for motes. Side note thanks for the IB! I can now start soloing strikes! Plus there's no way a Bungie staff member is going to have pics of half/naked chicks on their twitter and another post saying they hate Jews.
