Note: this is only directed towards sunsingers. Not the class, but the people who use self revive. They are selfish. They hog their super until they die
While sunsinger warlocks are useful in a way, they aren't as good as Titans and hunters and void walkers.
Think about it, what can sunsinger warlocks do that is useful? They can self revive. That's all. Yes I realize they are good for song of radiance or whatever, but seldom do people use that when it is important (nightfall/raids) Titans can produce and invincible shield to protect the team. Titans can clear a room of enemy's and make a path for the team. Hunters can go invisible and revive the whole team. Hunters can take down a group of enemies or take down a major's shield. Hunters can also dance a pathway for the team. Void walkers can clear out a group of enemies at a distance. Sunsingers can revive themselves. That is all. While they have to capacity to be an excellent choice, they choose to hog up their super in case they die. Not saying they are useless, just them at they aren't as good as other classes.
Let the butthurt commence.
Edit: For those who mention Song of Flame or whatever, do you actually use that in the raid/nightfall? No. So don't bring it up
Edit: Kage Goomba is a butthurt warlock
I told y'all there would be butthurtedness in the truth
Edit: Man, people get so defensive. All I said was that self revive is selfish. That's the point. Instead of boosting the teams abilities, they wait until a wipe. And if that wipe doesn't happen, they have wasted their super.

Im a hunter and i personally find warlocks the easiest to kill. no offense but hunters are my equal (we have a code of conduct amongst our selves) and titans are just hard for us hunters to kill. warlocks are much easier for we hunters to kill. i will say i disagree with this article as i rarely see the voidwalkers ability and if we are about to wipe in the vault a sunsinger can save us by reving down teamates (asuming there is someone alive on the other side.

Your damn right I do.... In nightfalls and MOST raids. Sure we can spam light orbs but most can handle their own, I do save it just in case everyone dies... Sorry I never saw that as thinking about me but more so thinking about the entire team.

6 답변Lol another person who thinks they're better than others Let's first focus on the self revive. As a warlock, this can save raids. Yes, using supers to clear a room, but how many times have people died from riduculousness, and a warlock self revive saves a nightfall restart. Secondly, sunsinger grenade spam is riduculous. Both solar and fusion nades used correctly completley wrecks. Great for mobs and massive orb production. Every class has its benifits.

Let me just say as a warlock who did VOG on hard mode Not only was I useful but I was instructed to use My warlock with Self revive equipped and yes it saved our bacon a few times. So sorry but your "truth" is really just your opinion spun in a bias light.

Whenever I play my warlock, I pop my super and just use my gun to kill everything. This creates 8-9 easy orbs for my mates to use supers. I then use mine again, and we rinse/repeat. You are looking too far into this. Every class has a purpose and can perform. Go do something else. Read a book or something.

2 답변Sunsinger with maxed Sunbreakers and solar grenades are a big help in the raids. Those solar grenades go on for days with the Sunbreakers and with Radiance they can build a wall of fire that is very useful to either clear groups or get enemies to back off

3 답변Not every sunsinger is selfish and some of us actually use our self revive to keep a nightfall or CE from wiping. Sorry you haven't been able to play with anyone good enough to utilize their class to its potential, but hey why not start one yourself and break the mold. Your post was narrow minded by trying to put that class into a generalization instead of saying some sunsingers are scrubby you basically said all were. No butthertedness, just trying to educate the ignorant.

14 답변Well, here we are again. As we both know, your opinion is most of the time worthless (as we learned earlier). You clearly do not do nightfalls and hard raids with your thunderlord, because you dont understand how useful self revive is. Do you realize this keeps fireteams alive? I can not even begin to describe how many times my fireteam has been saved by a warlock, whether it be nightfall or hard raid. On the other hand, the amount of times combined for the hunter and titan i have been saved is still not as much as the warlock. The titan and hunter do not save fireteams... They just kill stuff to make it easier for fireteams. Warlocks save fireteams. End of discussion. I'm not getting with in another fight with you, as your biased, butthurt opinion is unchangeable.
get good, skrubbie pants
1 답변imo Fireborn is more useful during Raids and Nightfalls. Would you rather have the guarantee of a 2nd chance or a few quick grenades? People generally use it wrong, reviving themselves right after they die. I prefer to safe it until everyone is already dead. Besides, if there are plenty Orbs on the floor, just pop it anyway and spam grenades.

작성자: Undefined 1/15/2015 8:47:03 PMEasy & ranged crowd control (e.g.solar nades in Abyss helps everyone, touch of flame is also pretty awesome), orb machine (helps the whole team), cd reduction on nades for the whole team...
do you actually use that in the raid/nightfall?
Yes.
No. So don't bring it up
Oh...didn't realize it was a rhetorical question... I'm sorry, but between a sunsinger and any hunter subclass, sunsingers are a better support class (since you keep mentioning "helps the whole team"). Of all three, I think defender is the best support subclass, despite losing on the "orb factory" aspect. A sunsinger coupled with a defender = ubber protection, no doubt.

3 답변Lol only thing hunters have in any raid is going invisible, other then that they are weak and useless, titans can produce sheilds that will kill you faster then you can blink, since enemies can pass through them and kill you. While a sunsinger warlock can self res saving the team from a wipe in everything except HM raids, they can clear an entire room with grenade spam while under radience,
-
OP look... I can sit here and bash you about everything wrong with your post, but it is clear you are just ignorant or have never played with a good sunsinger. A good sun singer plays offensively and does not save their super for when they die (only exception for me is on certain parts of certain nightfalls) . An offensive sunsinger can out damage EVERYCLASS. RADIANCE + heart of praxic Fire + fusion grenades = more damage then any other super COMBINED (not to mention you also get a super charged scorch). Take away the special and you still have 2 grenades that come back crazy fast with the right set up, a ridiculously long melee attack and all the swag that comes with it.

If you need your super powered up so often use bad juju. How about equipping armor with intelligence boosts? Why am I supposed to be your crutch? How about the armor, any advice there? If warlocks don't use light beyond nemesis are they selfish too? (generates extra orbs) My job is not to make orbs for you. It's to kill the enemy fast and efficiently and not be a burden to my teammates.

9 답변For all those Warlocks out there, I have two of them, and I will have to agree with this post. The only time I run Sunslinger is in a raid or a nightfall, other than that it is Voidwalker, love that subclass.

작성자: TommyTwoStoned 1/15/2015 7:06:16 PMPlay with some good sunsingers. When my group runs our shit, It's a constant super orgy because I'm popping orbs as a SS or VW, supering my buddies, who Fist/Dance/Bubble/Whathaveyou and rebuild mine. You can stay in a constant state of having a super if you have people who know how to do it. That way you have everyone making orbs, and that game saving self revive 80 to 90 percent of the time.
