Makes me re-level any guns in the current format and or causes any more of my guns to become irrelevant......the end.

I feel like House of Wolves will be more of the same as TDB. It's been planned and they'll release it regardless. I think the expansion after that gives them their first opportunity to seriously address the issues raised (repetitive missions etc.). If that is more of the same, then yes, my relationship with Destiny will likely (and unfortunately) come to and end.

4 답변Personally I'm quitting when HoW drops regardless. The first expansion was 3 levels, 1 strike, 1 raid, and a couple multiplayer maps. Since the maps weren't added to normal rotation, I ignored them. I blasted through the levels in a little over an hour, and see no reason to play them further. We got a new raid, but invalidating 90% of the first one. Getting my weapons from 300 to 331 has been the majority of time spent since expansion. It's boring. This new content is thin, repetitive, and ultimately a waste of time since HoW will just raise light/weapon/armor levels again. Bungie doesn't know how to run an MMO, so instead we have Halo where you get to relevel your guns every few months. 1st expansion sucked, no reason to believe 2nd will be better. So I expect it will sell a lot less. Maybe then Bungie will wake up and figure out how to manage a gameworld.

2 답변I'll probably quit if they allow ppl to buy level 33. Spent so much time on hitting lv 32.

Why are you so upset about it? It's something that happens with each level increase. You must not like this type of game, because there's no point in being upset about something so innate. You will have to level things up again, whether that be new armor and weapons or somehow old stuff in order for it to be relevant.

Probably not. I like the game and made it past the first DLC. IF they repeat the same process, which I think they will do but in a friendlier way to better appease those who were displeased this last time, I will simply accept it as a new game and continue having fun. At least this time I have time to anticipate and accept. This is of course assuming I'm still playing by then at all. :) only because I have invested loads in the game and not sure how long the excitement will last. That's not a negative comment either. 700+ hours. Bravo Bungie!

1 답변If you get destiny 2 bungie wants you to transfer your characters to that game and continue to level up.
-
1 답변They have to reset all the guns, otherwise there'd be No grind, which is what their entire game is based on.
-
3 답변It's inevitable, they aren't the first to do this and won't be the last. Look at games like Diablo 3, people spent hundreds of dollars on gear that become complete junk within a year. It's progression and gives people an incentive to grind again (since content is lacking either way)
-
Also, get ready for those new " .... shards" and "..... energy" required to upgrade your new equipment. Just how when The Dark Below dropped, I had over 200 ascendant shards with no use for them. When House of Wolves drop, I'll probably have over 100 radiant shards, again with no use. More grinding!

Bungie gets paid by the hour, of course we'll have to relevel. New mats, new currency and new paths to the top so you have to put in the hours. If you were max level on day one of the dlc why would you grind your ass off for the next month? You wouldn't, and bungie wouldn't get their hours. We will be grinding our ass off in March.

1 답변I don't get the angst over this. None of the exotics became irrelevant just needed upgrading further in effect. I certainly won't be quitting. Given that VoG is now supposedly dropping level 32 weapons then that would suggest they will do similar in the future. You grind to a level. Expansion comes out, grind to the next level. That includes weapons. Not a big deal for this player at least. Fair enough though, each to their own.
-
I wouldn't mind the extra leveling... It is the fact that the leveling that I have done will be pointless because you can take a 264(or whatever) not upgraded weapon and upgrade it to with the same result as upgrading a 331 maxed weapon... You should have to max it out first... Then upgrade...

It will make me reevaluate what I am doing and the amount of time I am investing in this game. The real tell will be whether the info about keeping characters, gear and weapons holds true. If we cannot keep all of that once the new disc/DLC comes out, I will not be coming back.
