Hello I am 14 year old pretty hardcore destiny player I like to think I know quite a lot about the raids and nightfalls BUT! as soon as I join the party and they hear me (I am not a squeaker but you can tell I'm a kid) they automatically assume I am bad. Seriously I'm not bragging but I'm probably more experienced then them. What do you guys think ( adults or kids )

1 답변I was in a game with a kid yesterday doing Atheon on hard. He grabbed the relic, and after teleporting he fell off the edge. He then proceeded to whine because I didn't pick up the relic. Like it was my fault he didn't double jump. It was childish. And he was annoying. With that said, I've never joined a squeaker and just assumed they were bad. I've joined random raid groups that the main kid was around your age. He was the one saying what to do, doing most callouts, etc. I was impressed. Age doesn't bother me. At all, really. When the age comes out and they continue to whine... That's when it bothers me.

작성자: Jeff the Cabal 1/16/2015 12:23:00 PMI understand the struggle. A while ago i used to play cod as a teen and got picked on all the time for being young. Just don't talk. Kids tend to excessively talk during games. Just don't say much until you need to.

2 답변Some kids are really good because the younger brain has more plasticity to learn. Exactly why I wish I knew what I do now was I was in grade school... All I had to do was keep trying and I would learn. But being 26 now I just dislike gaming with kids because most of them talk or brag to much. Like I did when I was younger. That's the only reason I would not want to game with a younger lad.

1 답변1. Hate to say it, but school kind of prevents you from being a hardcore player. Especially if you are getting decent grades. 2. Don't try to assume command over people older than you. Your "more experienced" comment indicates that you try to do this. People will not take orders from someone blatantly younger than them. 3. Don't assume you know more than others. You have around 11 days (in total) logged on your characters. Most people on this forum, and a lot of randoms that you meet, have more playtime than you do.

couple of weeks ago I went to the forums to join a VoG team on hard, ended up with mostly kids who sounded around 14. we got to the gatekeeper checkpoint and they really made it look easy, did it perfect with no wipes. I think that's when I got praedyth's timepiece one guy quit to eat dinner, the one who sounded like he's in his 20's and the rest of us 5-manned atheon in three tries. I got Vex

While yes I agree with what you are saying, I don't play with kids because they're squeakers and annoying, when I raid I chat, have conversations, I play with experienced people so we don't have to focus too hard. But me and you? We have Destiny in common, but other than that we are from different generations, I wouldn't know how to hold a conversation with someone of your age, and one of the worst experiences I've ever had on this game is playing a raid where everyone is just dead silent. We get the job done, but there is no laughter. and it just kills me man. So that's why I don't play with teens. It's nothing to do with finding you annoying (some of you are). We just aren't compatible. It's not you, it's me.
