I like to think the present was for the kindergaurdians, unlucky players, and anyone who wanted something free. If you thought the gift was crappy because it was "only" a legendary then congratulations on being lucky. For the new and the old where RNGesus wasn't so nice this gift was a nice surprise. I for one will love any free legendary I can get my hands on!
