Bungie WILL clamp down tomorrow!
Get ready for the first update in 2 weeks and the first update of 2015.
You know it's coming, a massive clamp down on Crota Cheesing.
I wonder what Bungie has in store for us and what would you like the update to include?

I'm not sure exactly when the hard raid comes out but any and all raid changes will most likely be released that same week. You don't really think they will give you a head start with figuring out how to cheese the patched raid do you?

This is a joke right? Bungie was off for the last two weeks for Christmas and the staff can't be bothered to fix cheesing. It took them pretty much until the release of the DLC to fix the Templar glitch. From what we know, they'll only fix this stuff before House of Wolves comes out, and then we'll have to break down our gear and grind for level 35.

While this doesn't necessarily mean a game update isn't on its way between now and Tuesday, I feel like he'd have something easy to talk about if any big fixes/changes were eminent. Instead he's going to say they're inbound soon. Meaning February.

1 답변They are going to fix it the same way they did with VoG, atheon not teleporting all 3 guys, ppl getting detained after being teleported, templar randomly teleporting without his shield even breaking (those damn detain fields) but hey the fix things right?

9 답변I just hope they mention hard raids and they going to release a patch to fix ALL cheeses before next Tuesday. Then, when I find a pug and people who are level 32 say "I don't know how to do the bridge", I just sit there and be like LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

9 답변Is the Crota cheese the thing where people disconnect their internet to keep him down on his knee? Or is there another way to cheese him that doesn't seem completely dishonest like that? I don't take issue with finding an easy way to get through something, as long as it is within the existing game. However, tinkering with hardware to exploit an online game like this just doesn't seem right.

99 답변You can't fix a network related issue. The problem lies with disconnecting your network cable. Bungie cannot, and will NEVER be able to determine if you disconnected your network cable/got kicked from the game/or anything else happened between you and Destiny, which can be, literally, hundreds of things. What if your ISP has an outage? What if a downstream ISP has an outage? What if your router loses power? When it comes to actually network connectivity, it becomes impossible to contain because it is out of your control; this isn't on the application level, where Destiny may be able to fix it. This is why nightfall has become so easy. If a person dies, that person leaves the fireteam and comes back. This has been going on for a while. Other Crota glitches can easily be fixed because they rely on the application level, such as the lamp exploding on the first bridge when you go in the pit; or using the sword to glide over to a rock on the second bridge.
