Most of the serious players are level 32. People aren't looking for levels in this case, they're looking for commitment. I made 2 characters to get to 32. One warlock and 1 hunter. My hunter is missing boots or a helmet to get to 32 while my warlock is 32. If you didn't make any new characters to get ready for the hard raid, why do you have a right to complain? I have a friend who made 8 new characters in the past 2 weeks. Those are the people that you want to do the hardest part of the game with. Not someone who just casually wants to run it and then give up when it takes too long.
Now even just taking the commitment part out, at 31 you're effectively a level 28 trying to run VOG on hard. It would be VERY hard but not impossible. At 32, you have a better chance due to damage output increase and higher defense. Do you really want to risk someone being both a bad player and 2 levels under? Would be a nightmare. You should probably find a consistent clan to run with in that case so you don't need the forums for this...

I enjoy keeping one of each class and trying to level them all. I currently have one that could be 32 should I choose to spend the shards on it. How does not creating multiple characters of the same class to make it easier to reach level 32 make others a less serious/committed player?

작성자: w1czr1923 1/5/2015 6:21:55 PMBecause they have the option to delete one and create another. I had 3 level 30 characters pre DLC one of each class. I didn't use all 3 and playing as a titan was ruining my play style as a hunter/ warlock so I deleted him. I looked at which of the two classes had the most raid gear at the time and made one of them. Got the warlock to 32 and deleted the extra to make another hunter. People who have one of each may be dedicated to getting one of each character to 32. But that is where the problem lies. They're dedicated to their own achievement as opposed to helping out the team. Having a level 32 is far more desirable than someone who has 3 almost 32's. I know people who have one of each, saved the gear, deleted the character, and made a new one. Makes sense to do. But not all people are willing to make a new character to get to 32 before hard raid. In this case, which is the more often case, they are less dedicated to finishing the raid quicker and with less hassle than getting their own characters quicker. You said it yourself, you can have a 32 now but you won't because you are waiting for your other characters to get to 32. When you're raiding with random people, you have no right to complain if they don't want to raid with you because you're 31. It's just being selfish really. Someone with 3 of the same character just needs to get 1 of them to 32. Then they have 3 32's and can work on getting more gear for the others. They have a refined play style due to the fact they only use one character and they are more likely to know what role they have in the raid faster. EG. warlock controls space in the thrall maze so they know that is their role as opposed to a hunter who clears ads. TL;DR 1 of each character might be cool for you and there's nothing wrong with it. But you don't really have a right to complain that no one wants to play with you because you're not 32.

Anyway, everyone likes to play the game his or her way. I would never complain if someone did not want to play. It is highly likely if they do not want to play with me because I am a 31 that I'd not want to play with them anyway. If hard raid is tomorrow and you just had to have a multiple 32's on day one then obviously creating/deleting multiple same class characters is the way to go. However, the release date does not appear to have been announced except for "January"? Not saying the date is not out, but I did a quick search and could not find anything except January. I assume it will not be tomorrow since they patch Thurs now. Assuming they line it up with reset, the earliest would be the 13th? If I run it 3x's after reset tomorrow and get one pc gear for either character, I have a very good chance of having more than enough shards for two 32's by the 13th and for sure on the 20th probably even on outside shot at 3 32's considering the fact I'll be rank 4 in a day or two and be able to exchange energy. Why will I not have a 32 because I'm waiting for all my toons to be 32? Not sure what you are getting at. I currently have all the shards plus I need for one and a couple pcs of duplicate gear I plan to shard. It only makes sense to wait currently to spend the shards as long as possible, since I will be able to pick the armor I like the best when doing the initial upgrades. You never know what RNG may bring on these other runs before hard mode and I am happy to limp along as a 31 currently.
