So you all know about Comet.
So you all know that we may be getting two new weapon types, that only leaves to wonder about what those weapon types could be.
I mean, we've already got modern weappon types eg. Assault rifles, scout rifles etc. + we have fusion rifles, but what could these 2 new weapon types be?
I was thinking perhaps one would be a melee weapon such as swords, similar to the katanas from halo, what do you guys think? (yes yes energy swords, I call them katana m8 u wot)
Only rule of thread: back up your ideas with viable reasons!
EDIT: to clear up the misunderstanding, I am not the youtuber known as Mr Fruit, I was not even aware of that youtuber until someone asked me if I was him. Sorry guys, I'm just Mr Fruit.

SWORDS Whites and uncommons get only the standard RB attack Blues get RT and RB attacks Legendaries get RT and RB attacks Exotics get RT, RB, and Super attacks Each rarity could have a different number of specialized perks, just like with guns Ammo could regenerate over time

2 답변I'd rather we get Elemental damage that actually does something, not just do extra damage to shields. Like Solar damage does DoT, maybe Void saps health? Stuff like that.

2 답변Nad launcher as a secondary like firing a slightly lower damage grenade different upgrade effects ( could be like solar leaves solar burn bla bla.- low ammo 2/4 shots before a very slow reload max ammo 8 replace heavy with a sword would be nice and perhaps could make you move slightly quicker like using corta sword. different sword/axe/hammer things to keep people looking fresh. Anyone else hoping for some more future style guns? Yeah auto rifles ect are cool but I want my purple fat gun that fires purple stun shots or a green poison gun just more options.... I think a new element like flame(red) or earth(green) would be interesting also.

4 답변Fully auto handcannons like have 50-80% fire rate, a large ish mag (about 25 max) but about 1/4 impact (maybe less?? To reduce opness) 50% recoil so they are pretty steady and around 60-80% reload with maybe 30-45% range

I feel like coil guns or rail guns will be a thing, and possibly grenade launchers. I would hope that there are some outrageous things that do weird stuff but I don't think bungie is that creative. So a semi futuristic science weapon and an ordinary modern weapon

I think melees would be way op and bad ass so I not voting on them but me and my friends (srry for bad grammar) were talking about them adding a raid where you could get the weapons that the enemies use sort of like husk/ally/necrochasm and mummur

16 답변I honestly lose an IQ point every time somebody says they want SMGs. SMGs are high RoF low damage weapons. We have those. Plenty of those. Making them their own weapon type would be 100% pointless seeing as they have no niche to fill.
