Blind Invites
Does anyone else find them to be seriously annoying?
To clarify. A blind invite is when someone invites you to game without telling you what for.
It's good to see I'm not alone in this, hopefully the blind inviters can be reminded that a little courtesy goes a long way.

In the meantime, USB keyboards are like a buck o five at your local Megalomart. Buy one. Nine times out of ten, I get a blank invite at the worst possible time, like when I'm in the Crucible or on a raid. If you see I'm in there, and I haven't responded, [b][i][u]QUIT SPAMMING MESSAGES.[/u][/i][/b] I'll get to you when I'm not taking hostile fire, jackass. Also, if I'm doing something like the raid, or a weekly strike, don't send me a "N00bacles wants you to play Destiny" invite. You're just wasting your time, because I'm not going to drop everything and abandon the other random players in my fireteam just because you and I happened to be in the same fireteam once three weeks ago. While we're at it, how about letting us see levels of other players in the inviter's party before we join that party? It would be nice to know in advance that the L29 who sent you a "hm VoG" message also has four L27 players in the party, so you can avoid that particular dumpster fire. WHARRRRRRGARBL. Need more coffee...

1 답변Lvl 32 walks into tower. " So and so Scrub wants you to play Destiny to carry him through unspecified event!" Every time I enter the tower -__-. The worst is when they send more Inv like "maybe he didn't see the obvious Inv message, perhaps I should get my party members to spam him invs. Hopefully he gets the next 10 invs. "

1 답변Why does no one just edit the "Play Destiny!" text to whatever you're trying to recruit for? "Play HM Crota" is not a time consuming edit.

If all I get is the default "Play Destiny" I ignore it. It doesn't take much, a few seconds, to throw in a little blurb like "Nightfall?" Or "Ce nm fresh" etc. Most of us will understand what you are asking and will consider joining if we need to do it. If you are inviting a random player and not one of your friends though don't be surprised when they bail if your team is crap.

Doooods. I hate it when I'm blind invited to games. I'm always telling people to shoot me a message first so that I don't have to quit what I'm doing, join your game only to find out your about to run VoG on normal and just wanted some higher level help or whatever. Then I gotta say sorry guys, I'm out and return to my game. Indeed annoying.
