Losing content cause I'm not buying DLC
I think this a terrible design of bungie DLC. I bought your game for $60, and now that I didn't give you another $20 cause while I like the game don't think DLC is worth it, I'm losing some of the original content I bought. Very often daily, weekly and Nightfall missions are all behind DLC wall. Now I just went to Xur and found that I can't buy any new exotics without DLC either. While DLC may be adding content for those who bought it, has someone who didn't I'm losing some of the game I already bought, I think this is a terrible practice and more people should be out raged. It's been 6 months and I'm being left behind and having content cut.

It's the way if most all mmo's... In a few month you will be able to go out and buy destiny for cheaper and it will include the dlc. If you don't like it stop playing or go out and buy it it's 35 bucks for both expansion packs

Just curious as to why you bought destiny in the first place. Most MMOs have $15 monthly subscriptions plus $50-60 expansions on top of that. Getting two DLCs for $35 is a bargain. Bring back destiny and get something else. I'm not saying this to be rude but you're just going to end up being locked out of even more content when the upcoming DLC drops and in the long run. Just saying.

I can agree that those who didn't buy the DLC have been completely ripped off. However I also agree that with a game of this size, it should be expected for players to make additional payments (similar to a subscription fee). That being said, Bungie did terrible at communicating all this ahead of time, so yes, I will side with you and say you indeed are getting ripped off.

2 답변I do feel for the part of the community without DLC. The daily has been DLC content quite a bit recently and 2 out of the last 3 weeks was DLC Nightfall/Heroic. I want this game to maintain strong numbers. I hope they don't alienate players by doing this.

Then just stop playing. I bought pass because I didn't know what it had, and now I regret it. If the rumors about comet are true then I might buy that, but after that, no more. I'm hanging it up, because this game is truly not worth it.

1 답변Of course you can't buy the new exotics without the DLC. How is that losing content? It's not. You just didn't gain content. So you'll miss out on a Nightfall, Weekly or daily here and there. If you don't have the new content and can't get past level 31 then who cares? You're maxed.

People will argue that the EULA says they can do what they want with online content, and that may be true, but this is crappy treatment for people who already supported the game by paying their $60 and just want to be able to continue to play the game the way it was before the "optional" DLC came out.
