You cannot find 100 hours of quality entertainment anywhere on the planet earth for less than 100 dollars. Cannot be done so stop whining and either enjoy your game or move on.

Pretty wrong. None of the plague of darkness content is on the disc. All the current locations have been fully explored including all the house of wolves locations except the reef raid. That's it. There's nothing from comet 1 on disc that's complete bullshit. Plague of darkness will be a separate disc or digital download.

On the disk or not, I'm still going to buy all future Destiny games and DLC. I'm going to pay for it and I'm going to play the hell out of it while enjoying every minute of it like I have so far.

Where exactly does it state that it's already on the disk? The linked site you posted mentioned the expansion being sold as a disk or digitally. Similar to "large" expansions in MMOs.

Jeez... has anyone actually gone OUTSIDE to a movie recently? Tell me people aren't sitting there trying to justify spending $20 for 2 hours of entertainment on something they may or may not like. Basically that's what your doing with games or dlc. Your getting far more hours of entertainment for your money being in the comfort of your own home. Wrong. You don't decide where the price of destiny ends and the price of DLC begins. The fact that a cobbled version of the dark below was on the disc doesn't mean you're entitled to play it. There are budgets at work here that you know nothing about. When Bungie decided to put destiny into development they had to hammer out a schedule and a budget that would pay everyone involved for the time they personally committed to developing the game. Everyone: programmers, art directors, concept artists, voice actors etc,. That number called "the budget"—that big chunk of cash Bungie asked Activision for in the beginning is exactly tied to how many copies they expected to sell at $60 a pop. So to simplify this for you, say everyone at Bungie was like "you know what? Let's give them the dark below at launch as part of the game. It's going to cost us an extra 100 million, but let's do it anyway." Activision would be like "wrong. That's not how budgets work. We've already given them 100+ hours of launch content. That's worth $60. The DLC is tied to a separate budget that we won't have access to for another 4 months". I know you think Activision can pull 100 million bucks out their ass whenever they want but even giant companies are tied to quarterly budgets. More importantly, They get to decide what's worth $60 and when they need to charge beyond on that. They're Activision for a reason. They're smart with their money whether you like it or not. You don't get to decide this stuff. Everyone who plays (like really plays) destiny and has over 100 hours invested in the game is going to be hard pressed to appeal to Activision's soft side when they cry about being robbed of $60. Most games give you 15 to 20 hours of play time for the same price. Sorry. But all you haters just sound like entitled little millennial assholes who don't when something good begins, when it ends and why it's not all immediate and free. Nor do you have a concept of someone else's hard work and the money their entitled to. If you don't like it go make your own video game and give us all $300 worth of content for $60. We'll see how long you last before everyone quits because they're working 90 hours a week and can't get a raise because your budget is totally out of whack. When you dudes going to realize destiny is being built on the fly?? It's being made on the fly from our feedback and our suggestions !! This is something never been done we are building this listen to the devs they been saying they hear our feedback they hear what we say !! They haven't been perfect but bungie is doing what's never been done before letting the fans build a game they see what we like and what we don't like

So essentially they sold us a dlc and a game intro/skeleton for $60 (VoG) and then 2 more dlc's (TDB & HoW) for $35-$40 all so they could sell us the second half of the story.

From my understanding the content is not on disk, but the new models, environments and animations are. Those getting angry over paying for content thats supposedly on-disk are at fault, not bungie.

Stop playing the game Destiny is like a evening out , I ate it and it gave me bad indigestion I would not recommend this game for mature audience Happy grinding

Why core elements of the game are not available for me anymore? Can't play Nightfall nor weekly strike anymore because I have not purchased the expansion. I have paid for NF and WS buying this game. Don't lock me out just because I don't want pay more. You might as well switch to pay monthly model. What a disappointment :-(

Bungie already said there's no third subclass so I can tell this is made up. Keep trying to stir people up it's fun to read.

Not on the disc, unfinished maps do not constitute everything in a dlc. I am personally excited for the new content, some people just don't understand that destiny plus all dlc is still far better value for money than cod or battlefield with all of their dlc.

I probably won't be playing by then. This game is getting boring
