EDIT: Simple facts: Pre-DLC I was able to do Nightfalls, Weekly Heroic and the raid, now this week I can only do the raid. So basically I can't do what I used to be able to before the dlc. I didn't purchase the DLC because imo it is overpriced and didn't want to tell Bungie/Activision that I was alright with the price and that they could proceed with giving few content at this price. You can agree or not with the DLC price, that's debatable. I'm only complaining about the fact that I used to do more in the game, I don't want the new strikes or new maps, I just want to be able to do the things I did. But I guess this is very hard to understand.
Blocking me from doing weekly / nightfall every 3 weeks is so amazing I think I'll start a petition to give a bonus to those approving this idea.
I mean I paid for an incomplete game, which I'm fine with since its a 10 year project so everything's alright so far.
But then they put out an "Expansion" that does indeed expand the game by a LOT! But I decide to wait until I buy myself a next gen console to get it since they doesn't offer free upgrade for expansion (only for the digital game) which is very also a very cool idea imo. EDIT: The Pass does transfer if bought before jan 15th, the DLC doesn't. In this new era of gaming I'm not too found of pre purchasing content..
But where they made me so full of joy is when they decided they would prevent me from playing the uncompleted game I paid 70$ + tx (I love living in Canada, I know you're all jealous) by putting one of the some many new strikes as the weekly strike.
Now I was living a dream with this game, but.... when I though it wasn't even possible to have even more than what I had for my bucks (honestly who thought it was possible, we have so much to do in the game) they decided to put one of the many new strikes as the weekly every 3 weeks!! Seriously! That's just amazing, way beyond my imagination.
We can't ask for anything better, in a few years when we'll look into dictionaries we'll be able to read a description of Destiny under "fun".
EDIT: I paid for the ability to do at least 3 different end-game activities every week, I now can only do 1 of them. So basically I get less then what I originally paid for.
P.S. I love you Bungie / Activision (whoever is pushing this new marketing system) :)

They should have one nf and weekly heroic for non dlc purchasers per week and two of each, when its an omnigul week, for the dlc owners. That way you still get to do the weekly strikes but the dlc owners will/should progress a bit quicker.

3 답변작성자: rreeferpaste 12/30/2014 8:58:51 PMI agree it sucks and should of been Devils lair, since it's back on earth. But I really don't think it is overpriced. With cod, you get what, a few maps for pvp and one for zombies/survival. Here we got a few pvp maps, new story content, 1-2 new strikes, and a new raid. In this day and age, this dlc is at the very least, on par with other games

6 답변Bungie is a company trying to make money. Are you really shocked that they're trying to get you to buy the DLC?. Your rant here is going to do NOTHING so either buy the DLC or stfu.

3 답변I'd be angry if I paid extra for the extra strike and it wasn't part of the rotation I mean what the -blam!- would be the point. play it once and never again?

6 답변
Weekly/Daily playlists are not "Content." They are merely a content delivery system. AKA: A supporting service. The playlists themselves didn't go anywhere and your content (Strikes) didn't go anywhere either. Because you have chosen not to continue to support the product, you wil not be granted the same privileges as those who did. That's the price you pay for not paying the price. =|
7 답변I don't understand people who don't buy the DLC? Are you cheap? Up-tight? Or just arrogant? It's $20. You're all making it seem like it's $200.

I don't understand how you can love the game and not buy the dlc. Regardless of what you think of the story or lack of, connection issues. If you are still playing the game now, then you must like it enough to upgrade with the dlc. Yes the price sucks, but can you simply just not buy take out a few times? That way we can have a forum of people moaning about the lack of story once again.

That's fine, let's just separate the playlists, then cut support and access for the non-purchasers because they aren't paying for the servers that are hosting all their shit anymore. Orrrr, we could keep it like it is, and you guys can suck it up and continue to get a free service.

1 답변I'm fully in favor of Bungie making the DLC completely separate from the base game. If you want them to take back all the new vendor gear/weapons and 2.0 exotics and run around doing lvl 28 nightfalls to max out at light level 30, you have my full support. Maybe you should look on the bright side instead of always bitching about what you can't get for free.
