EDIT: Simple facts: Pre-DLC I was able to do Nightfalls, Weekly Heroic and the raid, now this week I can only do the raid. So basically I can't do what I used to be able to before the dlc. I didn't purchase the DLC because imo it is overpriced and didn't want to tell Bungie/Activision that I was alright with the price and that they could proceed with giving few content at this price. You can agree or not with the DLC price, that's debatable. I'm only complaining about the fact that I used to do more in the game, I don't want the new strikes or new maps, I just want to be able to do the things I did. But I guess this is very hard to understand.
Blocking me from doing weekly / nightfall every 3 weeks is so amazing I think I'll start a petition to give a bonus to those approving this idea.
I mean I paid for an incomplete game, which I'm fine with since its a 10 year project so everything's alright so far.
But then they put out an "Expansion" that does indeed expand the game by a LOT! But I decide to wait until I buy myself a next gen console to get it since they doesn't offer free upgrade for expansion (only for the digital game) which is very also a very cool idea imo. EDIT: The Pass does transfer if bought before jan 15th, the DLC doesn't. In this new era of gaming I'm not too found of pre purchasing content..
But where they made me so full of joy is when they decided they would prevent me from playing the uncompleted game I paid 70$ + tx (I love living in Canada, I know you're all jealous) by putting one of the some many new strikes as the weekly strike.
Now I was living a dream with this game, but.... when I though it wasn't even possible to have even more than what I had for my bucks (honestly who thought it was possible, we have so much to do in the game) they decided to put one of the many new strikes as the weekly every 3 weeks!! Seriously! That's just amazing, way beyond my imagination.
We can't ask for anything better, in a few years when we'll look into dictionaries we'll be able to read a description of Destiny under "fun".
EDIT: I paid for the ability to do at least 3 different end-game activities every week, I now can only do 1 of them. So basically I get less then what I originally paid for.
P.S. I love you Bungie / Activision (whoever is pushing this new marketing system) :)

I think you need to be saving your money and not buying anything video game related because you're obviously hurting for money. Also I forgot to add you most certainly can still raid every week. It's called vault of glass. If you want to play the new raid then purchase it. You can't complain about not having paid content you didn't pay for. The nightfall deal is debatable but not the raid.

3 답변I agree with you. My fire team and I all do have the expansion and we were even shocked the first week when we had to level up to 30 just do do the nightfall that we had been doing for the past 6 weeks. We don't raid so we were all 29. They really should have kept the lv28 as is and for those with the DLC you would be able to do the nightfall at lv30 as well. The incentive for the DLC becomes more content and 2 times the nightfall/heroic/daily.

2 답변Even though I bought the DLC I sympathise for those without. I know of no other DLC which has taken away features for gamers like this. Anyway you look at it, it reflects poorly on Bungie. Its not about the $, its about having a game strip away most of the end game content after you've bought it. Imagine if every game you bought for $40 required an extra $20 to continue playing it there after. Its like buying a film on blue ray but only being allowed to watch the last half hour for 2 months and then getting a pop up requesting you to pay another $5 to watch a slightly extended ending. Some people blame Activision but COD has managed its DLC much better and you also get a lot more content for the season pass.

3 답변Weeklys & Nightfalls were never part of the advertising. Daily's were kind of mentioned by them saying you'll want to replay the story for Materials. So no you didn't pay for those activities by your logic.

3 답변That's how MMO type games work. You choose to not buy the expansion you get left behind.

13 답변Since you're all about fairness, I assume you'll be returning that level 31 vendor gear you have on? I mean, that's the new level cap paid for by those who bought the expansion, but you are using it without having paid for it. So, if anything, those who paid for the expansion should be pissed you have access to gear they paid for. You bought level 29 (or 30 from raiding) gear when you bought the game. You have been given something for free with new vendor gear. Yes, I understand you are upset about the nightfall, but you're ignoring what you already have.

6 답변작성자: z3phyr IV 12/30/2014 9:41:43 PMYour options include: 1. Realize everything in this world is a business and that's just the way it is. Go buy the DLC 2. Get off your ass, get out of your moms basement and get a damn job. Anybody with even a part-time job can get a trust fund started and build up $20. It might take serious investment risk taking and things of that nature but you WILL eventually get to having $20 saved up. (See, sarcasm is easy) 3. Play another game, hell, stop playing video games entirely. 4. Switch over to PC where you'll need to spend $1500+ just to have good enough hardware to run games that you were hoping Destiny was gonna be like. Not to mention subscription-based services. (How does $90 + console costs sound now?) 5. Open a -blam!-ing book, your grammar sucks.
