Thank you for locking me from content (EDIT: FROM ACTIVITIES) I paid for, I really appreciate it
EDIT: Simple facts: Pre-DLC I was able to do Nightfalls, Weekly Heroic and the raid, now this week I can only do the raid. So basically I can't do what I used to be able to before the dlc. I didn't purchase the DLC because imo it is overpriced and didn't want to tell Bungie/Activision that I was alright with the price and that they could proceed with giving few content at this price. You can agree or not with the DLC price, that's debatable. I'm only complaining about the fact that I used to do more in the game, I don't want the new strikes or new maps, I just want to be able to do the things I did. But I guess this is very hard to understand.
Blocking me from doing weekly / nightfall every 3 weeks is so amazing I think I'll start a petition to give a bonus to those approving this idea.
I mean I paid for an incomplete game, which I'm fine with since its a 10 year project so everything's alright so far.
But then they put out an "Expansion" that does indeed expand the game by a LOT! But I decide to wait until I buy myself a next gen console to get it since they doesn't offer free upgrade for expansion (only for the digital game) which is very also a very cool idea imo. EDIT: The Pass does transfer if bought before jan 15th, the DLC doesn't. In this new era of gaming I'm not too found of pre purchasing content..
But where they made me so full of joy is when they decided they would prevent me from playing the uncompleted game I paid 70$ + tx (I love living in Canada, I know you're all jealous) by putting one of the some many new strikes as the weekly strike.
Now I was living a dream with this game, but.... when I though it wasn't even possible to have even more than what I had for my bucks (honestly who thought it was possible, we have so much to do in the game) they decided to put one of the many new strikes as the weekly every 3 weeks!! Seriously! That's just amazing, way beyond my imagination.
We can't ask for anything better, in a few years when we'll look into dictionaries we'll be able to read a description of Destiny under "fun".
EDIT: I paid for the ability to do at least 3 different end-game activities every week, I now can only do 1 of them. So basically I get less then what I originally paid for.
P.S. I love you Bungie / Activision (whoever is pushing this new marketing system) :)

2 답변Weekly/Daily playlists are not "Content." They are merely a content delivery system. AKA: A supporting service. The playlists themselves didn't go anywhere and your content (Strikes) didn't go anywhere either. Because you have chosen not to continue to support the product, you wil not be granted the same privileges as those who did. That's the price you pay for not paying the price. =|

3 답변I think what you're saying is reasonable and your post wasn't inflammatory or negative, but because you posted in the general forum you're just going to get pooped on like the last few folks who made this point. But since you posted, for my two cents I think they should give non-dlc players some other option for weekly or nightfall. Just seems fair.

4 답변We all knew this was a long investments and DLC was not for free even before launch. You paid for the content that was released before the Dark Below DLC. Looks like you bought a product without knowing what it was in the first place.(Advice) Do the research before you buy a game because most developers and publishers don't deliver what they say they do. Wait for the reviews and most importantly don't ever pre order some game franchise you're not familiar with. I made this mistake when i first bought battlefield and i couldn't even connect to servers for months. Destiny didn't deliver in story department (i dont play for the story but still i wanted something close to halo... :( ). I dont mind paying for destiny DLC because there isn't a game like destiny on the PS4 (The division might be convincing for you. I recommend you check it out :D).

I don't mean to say you're wrong. It [b][i][u]is[/u][/i][/b] a cheap tactic to promote the DLC. We both agree, no argument there. But consider this. Between your 3 characters (kudos on doing the 3 classes instead of going duplicates, by the way!), you have played 135,5 hours. That means up to now, you paid 0,52$CA for every hour of gaming you ever had in Destiny. Spending the extra 20.00 for the DLC (a bad deal, get the season pass instead if you ask me) would bring that amount to a whopping 0,66$CA per hour. Insane, right? That is still an awesome value in my book. What do you think?

3 답변It doesn't matter how many words you wrap around it, the problem is simple. You bought a game that has paid expansions, and you expect to be able to play those expanded parts for free. Paying customers expect to be able to play those parts because they bought them. You have no moral or legal right to the nightfall if you are not investing in the on going expansions. If you don't like it, skedaddle.
