Actually, the Vex in my opinion is (one of) the easiest gun to beat in PVP. Here are a few tips from a girl who has never been defeated by a Vex Mythoclast: - Keeping your distance. The Vex is horrible past mid-range, my advice is to use a scout rifle or sniper to take them out. Truthfully, with any gun when you are aiming for headshots...you will always win with skill. - Any fusion rifle will do. Seriously when I see a Vex in any skirmish game I will whip out my plan C and hunt them down until they are sent home crying! At mid range, any properly timed fusion rifle should eliminate a Vex user. - Use their over-confidence as your strength. There's one thing a Vex player does /(in my observation) is that they are usually overly assured. This may be true when Vex are playing against lower tiered gamers, but a pro will recognize the gun's strengths and use it to their advantage. So many times I have seen Mythoclast users rush towards me with their gun blazing and I take them down easily with a snipe to the head or a thorn that will make them think twice before rushing again. This being said, I think the Vex is not OP whatsoever (when compared to others). I worry more when i come across hand cannon users. Also, in my opinion...vex users tend not to be very good in PVP as they rely too much on the gun to do the job for them...not realizing that strategy and proper map knowledge outweighs any gun. Remember that no gun is technically op, a good skilled player will destroy you with a lvl 10 green...blame the player not the gun.
