I keep seeing people who say that 3 of the same class is cheating and I can't wrap my head around their logic. How is that cheating? They have to get drops still and upgrade their armor like everyone else. Is it cheating for me to give my hunter items that dropped on my titan? I just don't understand their logic about why it's cheating.
Edit: most responses I've ever gotten. Glad to see most think like me and that it's fine. No adequate explanation for the cheating reason. No idea how people come up with that.

3 답변It's retarded not to. The point of the game is progression by grinding the same "content" over and over and over again. Might as well increase the chances of progression by creating 3 characters of the same class.

I have all 3 characters, and my main will be a 32 with just 21 more shards. The other 2, one piece of crota gear a piece and both are 31. No need to play 3 of the same class. Personally, I think it's stupid. But, play a video game the way you want. Doesn't affect my gaming what so ever

It isn't cheating, definitely not. It is more like a 'cheap' tactic. Mainly because you are 3x more likely to find relevant gear for your respective characters in a raid. For example, I have one of each class and I have one opportunity per week to get my character to 32. If you have 3 of the same class, you have 3 opportunities per week to get your character to 32.

People are crybabies. I made my second warlock after I got my second set if VOG raid gear. Thought it would be helpful for crotas end. The same people that bitch anout having three characters also transfer mats and weapons between their characters so pay no attention to them.

10 답변작성자: Jebus Kreist 12/28/2014 10:36:17 PMBecause it's cheating the loot system that is designed to keep you playing longer to actually get the good loot. And then abusing the "Shared Vault Space" to transfer all the good loot to one character 3X as fast as you could potentially get it with just that 1 character. Doing it for nightfalls is generally accepted because it's just for some Vanilla "High Grade" loot that you could actually get anywhere else in the game. Doing it for the Weekly heroic is almost the only way to earn enough strange coins to make Xur an actually useful vendor. Doing it for the raids to level up faster is distasteful and shortens the games potential lifespan, just because you are greedy and impatient for special loot on a single character class. What are you going to do for the the next few weeks until the Hard Raid when you are maxed out already? What are you going to do for the next few months, if not many months, when you are maxed out already? Play Crucibitch? That shit is awful and everyone knows it. That Dark Souls netcoding and "Suddenly the system realizes you've been hit 40 times in the head by the guy lag teleporting 10 meters at a time currently behind 3 walls bullshit". Grind for loot? You cant because you got it already.

4 답변I say if the game allows it then it's not cheating. My money, my game, I play it how I want. If no one likes it they can grab a straw.

I don't think it's cheating, but it does seem like it would be boring. Correction, more boring than it already is running the same 4 daily heroics, same bounties every other day. Different classes are what keep it fresh for me nowadays.

I agree with the annoyance and the thought that it's stupid but I don't think it's cheating. Think about it this way; Billy has one of each character. He builds up his warlock to 31 and along the way he finds some Hunter armor. Now, when his Hunter hits 20 he has a bit of a kickstart that he got by working up his other class. As his Hunter levels up and he works through the Vanguard ranks again he get some Titan pieces this time so on his next character he has an even better kickstart thanks to the time put in on his other characters. Now, Timmy has 3 Titans. He builds up his first Titan to 31 and gets some Warlock armor along the way that he dismantles. Now, when he gets his other Titan up to 20, he doesn't just have a kickstart; he has all his gear from the other character that he doesn't have to work to replicate thanks to his work on his other character. Here's the thing though; when Timmy hits 20 on his third Titan he's still level 31, but this time he didn't do any work leveling up his second character but he has the bonus anyways. Timmy doesn't have to level up more than one character and the process is sped up because all the gear he gets from class-specific drops can be consolidated to give him the full set faster. Meanwhile, Billy puts in more work for the privilege of seeing Timmy get to the same point in as little as a third of the effort.

Its more over a head scratcher when people care so badly about other peoples profiles. In no way is it affecting someone else having 3 of the same character besides what, petty jealousy that theyre having more chances at gear for a single class? Even if by some magical reasoning it was affecting other players, those who decide to opt in on the 3 character thing a forfieting 66.6% of the class gear in the game. It has its fair pros and cons, as if it matters to anyone but the player anyway. Its totally fine to have 3 of one character, and its totally fine to have 1 of each. Hell its ok to just have one character in general, what ever floats your boat and makes you want to play the game. Its only affecting yourself therefor go nuts. In addition you could say its actually helping others by having more raid people available since Im one of those type that only like one of the classes playstyle. If I could only have 1 Titan i wouldnt bother with 2 more characters if I was forced to play as a hunter or warlock. But hey thats just me, if im a dirty cheater for getting more milage out of my game for making more characters of the only one I like to play as, well then Im a dirty vex guzzling fallen stroking cheater.
