Edit 8/14: I left this Edit up for too long. It was my salt at some boring joke. I felt it blighted my almost 2-year old post. It's gone now.
Okay so please correct me if I'm wrong, but the warlocks don't have exotic boots. Yeah I like my Radiant Dance Machines for my Hunter, but why can't my Warlock get any action? Not only does Bungie ruin our games by selling Sunbreakers and Voidfang Vestments so many times, but now we get less armor, really? Oh, and if you're going to hate, don't even reply.
Little Edit: List your ideas for Warlock boots!
Edit 2: I like the ideas people! Bungie should hire this community, but, oh wait, then it wouldn't be a game, it would be a water gun fight. :)
Edit 3: 200+ comments! Keep that hate coming Hunters!!!
Edit 4: The only thing people say is that we got Starfire Protocol. Yes, I know about that. The reason I made this post is because next DLC, Hunters and Titans will receive 2 chestpieces and 1 pair of boots. Warlocks will receive 1 chest. This is NOT counting helmets, which each of the classes will get one.
Edit 5: Ok by now DeeJ has seen this post, and he probably won't see this Edit. But I want to say I know know why we don't get boots. I still want em, but I know why we won't. Anyways here's my Exotic Boots idea:
"Voidlight Treaders"
These boots would make the warlock float in the air a foot above the ground (purely cosmetic) with an aura of light the color of the Lock's subclass. It would also give custom animations for jump, Glide, crouch, and slide.
Perks:
Extra Heavy Ammo
Special Weapon Loader
"Zen Motion:"
The player has complete control over Glide, being able to turn on a dime and control exactly where it's going to go. Glide can also go to much faster speeds, lasts longer, and Angel of Light lasts longer.
Now THAT would be a piece of armor worthy of the name "Exotic."
Edit 6: JESUS BLOODY CHRIST!!! I GOD DAMN KNOW THAT WE GOT A CHEST PIECE INSTEAD OF BOOTS!!! READ THE ARTICLE BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!! *sighs* I'm sorry for Caps Locking but I was getting so annoyed. Anyways, 1000+ replies! Yay!
Edit 7: Wow, I've never seen a forum post last this long. To give you an idea, I created this post in 2014. Seriously. It also seems that people want boots that increase Angel of Light's duration.
Edit 9: 2000 replies! Woooohoooo! We made it! And Deej still hasn't acknowledged this post.
Edit 10: Now the biggest argument (besides the fact that when Warlocks carry Hunters we need the extra Heavy) is that the robes cover the boots. Actually, most robes are made to allow you to see the boots. The only one that I can think of that makes it hard to see the boots is Voidfang, and since I'm asking for Exotic boots, that wouldn't be a problem.
Edit 11: You guys won't let this post die, will you? Also the joke got old after the 600th time. I have been robbed of all my salt. If you still comment the joke you are an amateur and a fool.
Edit 12: So someone apparently found this post 5 months after it died. How?
Edit 13: So this post is almost 2 years old now. Let's keep it alive until Bungie finally adds warlock exotic boots!
Edit 15: Two years. Two. Years. That's how long it took Bungie to add something the was given to Hunters and Titans 3 months after launch to Warlocks. To be fair, the new boots are actually pretty good. Instant reloads are nice for lazy people like me. But the principle remains. Not once in two years did Bungie ever remark on why exotic boots weren't added to the Warlock arsenal. I think this post has close to 2,000 replies. One of those should have been Cosmo or DeeJ. In case anyone was wondering, I will wear my exotic boots until the next Destiny comes out.
Well, this post can die in peace now. After two years, the mission has been completed. It's over.

"Have some Respect Boots" Perk 1: I don't know. think of something Exotic Perk: equipping these boots replaces the ram increase armor perk for something that makes sense like increased recovery i don't know just throwin out ideas ༼☞◑‿◑༽☞

I had an Idea, how about boots that reduce the cooldown on blink? Although on another note I have been hurting for some exotic boots, the only ones in the game I don't like are the MK. 44 Stand asides everything else is definitely worthwhile.

1 답변How about now that taken king is getting ready... maybe a pair of boots like "light's blessing" with a description like "for the darkness a curse, but for you may you flourish". For the actual special abilities you would have the basics like increased secondary reload speed, but for the main ability it could be for example "infusion of light", which basically absorbs a gaurdians light but on enemies "poisions" them with light, which makes so on attacks like scorch, it gives gaurdians "lights' absence" causing guardians to be unable to activate super abilities or throw grenades along with being unable to switch weapons (but only if you scorch/void strike) but on pve, it gives them lights curse, which can give enemies blindness for about as long as the purifier robes, and make it unable to regenerate a shield if they have one. This may seem O.P, but for pve it can only effect one enemy at a time, and on gaurdians, it would only last maybe 2 seconds, enough for you to wipe them out without much of a competitive fight, because the scorch/void strike damage mixed with a free 2-3 seconds of them being unable to switch weapons can give you an easy kill, but since it's only on scorch/void strike you can only use it so often, but even so with special perks on weapons that causes faster scorch/void strike recharge, it could get extremely O.P, especially with heavy weapons.

I don't know if OP or anyone else is still checking this, but Warlocks get just as many Exotics. Total count as of HoW is 12 each. 5 Helmets, 3 Gauntlets, and - for the Titan and Hunter - 2 Chests and 2 Legs. Warlocks have no legs but 2 extra Chests. Take your pick of 2 from Purifier, Starfire, Praxic Fire or Voidfang and those are what you get instead of the Dance Machines which... Don't do much. Or either of the Titan legs which are both Striker only. Now I gotta go, grinding for the only boots I think are any good - Bones of Eao. They'll be fun.

I'd like exotic boots too....something to beef up warlocks in PvP perhaps. But seriously....the most astonishing thing about this thread is the trashing of people who play different classes than the one you picked. Seriously...if I wanted a hunter I'd just go create one. No biggie. I've already got a Titan and warlock at 30+. Besides...how freekin boring would the game be if there was only one class to choose from......THEN you'd all be whinging for sure. So who cares who "carries" who. Just be grateful there's a bit of diversity......unlike what Xur sells.

2 답변Last time I checked, more than half the time you can't see the boots because you have robes on.

4 답변First off: Exotics aren't made for the aesthetics! They look unique because they are the only armors not belonging to a set. Second: I think a good idea for some warlock exotic boots would give you a perk that grants enhanced focused burst for glide. Making your initial acceleration last longer, making your jump carry you higher and farther.
