The Crotas End Emblem Used To Mean Something
Now a ton of unskilled players are cheesing their way through the raid, bungie feel free to acknowledge and fix these issues.
Just enjoy it and don't worry about the time it takes to complete it.

After refusing to watch other people doing it so we could have a total immersive experience. It saddens me that that its all for nothing due to others gaining the exact same rewards due to cheesing when it took pure effort and team work to overcome this raid (although its easier now knowing the mechanics). For example the bridge is so insanely easy, anyone who doesn't do it first time now are useless yet people still struggle and instead of improving they cheese and wait ages for everyone to die and get a warlock to revive? Scrubs. This raid is supposed to be end game, a step above strikes etc. If people continue to cheese and player skill stays shite then we will always get shite solo-able raids.

1 답변My group and I were among the first of the Elite to beat the raid before it was even a week old! Now I'm seeing more scrubs with this emblem, clearly earned by Cheesing Crota. I don't feel like a special snowflake anymore :(

1 답변How about we just accept the fact that both Crota's end and VOG were extremely easy and whether you beat it straight or not it means absolutely nothing. For God's sake there are people soloing the thing two weeks after release. That doesn't tell you something about how much skill is required? Time to get it through your head already. This game isn't hard. Fun... But not hard. If you thought your raid progress meant anything regarding how "good" you are, you are sadly mistaken. All it meant was you spent hours and hours upgrading your gear to be raid ready ASAP and then a few more hours learning the raid. You want a cookie?

I'm fine with the cheesing. I did it legit the first week and now I'm trying to do them as fast as possible. [b]I don't agree that they shouldn't learn the fight first.[/b] But it is going I be awesome when thy patch it and I kick all these "cheesers" who never learned the proper method. It's going to the Templar all over again.

Were on our third week of crota. Youre talking about it like youre a top ten world legit crota kill Fact is. There are people like myself who run legit on mains and cheese it on alts simply because were lazy. I dont feel like always having to explain fights. Ill wait till theu remove cheese to do so.

Everyone calm the F down! Why does it actually matter? I beat it 3 times legit last week and i could give a Sh less if people are cheesing him. It does not make them better than me at the game and to me thats all that matters... The amount of actual skill that a player has. On that note i know some of my friends will ask to cheese him, and you know what i will probably do it once or twice. Hopefully realize i would rather do it legit and move on.

I beat it first week going into the raid blind. Now everyone cheeses it. I ran into a group of guys the other night who managed to cheese crota onto his knees, and they still couldn't beat him. It's pathetic. I can't wait until the hard raid comes out and all these losers aren't able to beat it

I hear what your saying, and have to agree. I got an invite from a guy that I had met on line and ran the VoG with several times. When I joined his group they were at Crota and of course I told them I had never done the Crota raid before so needed some direction. One of the group responded with "just follow our lead this will only take a min" Well they proceeded to cheese him and yes I got the banner, a shader, a ship and a shotgun (serves me right as I HATE shotguns, Karma I guess) I will not equip the shader or emblem unitl I complete the entire raid with NO cheeseing. I want to learn how to do it legit. That being said once you have completed the raid "Multiple times" I don't have a problem with cheese. I just remember the 1st time I ran VoG after they patched the Templar and the entire group was like "what do we do now" I had only ran the VoG a handfull of times BUT I had done it legit and I was the only one that knew what to do. This is what will happen if people don't take the time to learn the raid before going right for the cheese.

Bungie needs to issue 2 week raid bans to these folks, and any repeat cheating after needs to be a hard ban. Most mmo companies perm a ban folks for this.

It means something to ME. We could have cheesed it, one of our raid team members did it with a group who cheesed. My group did it legit. It took us longer than most due to schedule conflicts but when we beat Crota we earned that emblem. And the satisfaction of beating him without an exploit or a glitch can't be matched.

No no no stop with the patches the one patch they already did screwed the raid up we do it legit every time fyi. While I was hitting crota with the sword tonight I teleported through him and only managed to hit him once. On a second occasion he jumped off of the ledge to attack me I got away luckily but but when I did get away to the other side of the map i might add he teleported on top of me and killed me these patches make these raids worse.

Personally I'm having a hard time getting a 100% legit group together. Of the times I've beaten him, 3 have been exploiting. Twice with the disconnect glitch and once with the presence of Crota work around. I tend to yield to the consensus, I'll advocate doing it legit with whatever group I'm in, but if more people want to use an exploit I'm not gonna leave the group over it.

19 답변I think it's funny that I could scroll through the comments and tell probably more than half of the people that commented cheesed crota. It's funny that people try to defend themselves because they know they don't deserve the rewards from crota. It's actually rather sad and pathetic. I feel bad for those of you who have cheesed crota because you know that you have cheated and you can't even get the rewards legit. Feel free to leave any comments to try to justify why you have cheated. Keep in mind that you can't justify not playing the game as intended.
