*stands up on Soap Box* All I ever see on here is people complaining, and to be honest some rightfully so. I have TDB and still thought it was horrible that they didnt make a separate playlist for those that do not have the DLC. But there is a solution to this. Pay To Play! It's simple as that, everyone is wanting Destiny to be the best it can be, and that requires Money! Yes yes, you have already given them your 60 dollars you say, you paid for the game already and shouldnt have to pay more you say. Well I SAY YOUR WRONG! Why? It's simple, everyone is whining about the way the game is playing, that it's not what we all thought it was going to be (fpsmmo). Well, if you all want it to be like an MMO (which I most def do) then we need to treat it as such. But but but a Pay to Play wont work on a Console you say. WRONG! Look at FFXIV: ARR IT'S THRIVING! Anyone remember Phantasy Star Online for the PS2? Or Phantasy Star Universe on the 360 and Ps2? It has been done before and it can work again! Everyone is wanting massive amounts of content, lets face it that is just not going to happen withou some serious payroll going on, especially since the team has already fractured for Destiny 2 development. Look at WOW, EVE, Phantasy Star 2, and all the other P2P MMO's, they are thriving with content. This is what we need to be able to explore Destiny the way we all want And think about it, they already want to make a Destiny 2. If we could convince them to goto P2P there would be no need for a second destiny, when they could switch focus onto Content for Destiny. there is so much potential but it's not going to happen without community Support and, yes, Money. My two Cents on things *steps off Soap Box* ::::EDIT 1:::: Everyone seems to be confusing XBL and PSN premium fee's with Monthly fee's that are proposed. BUNGIE does NOT get a DIME of the fee's charged for XBL and PSN. Final Fantasy 14 ARR is on the PS4, so that means they shouldn't have to pay the monthly fee is what all you are all saying that are complaining because they pay for PSN? No they pay the Monthly Premium to Square - Enix to play FFXIV: ARR to enjoy that game, and they pay PSN for the Network services that Sony provides them, like party chat, friends lists, your Netflix and media and server for the other games that you play on your PS4 (OMG there are other games on PSN than Destiny??!) Secondly BUNGIE AND ACTIVISION DID NOT DO 500 Million is Sales, They did 500 Million in SALE -INS, BIG BIG Difference http://www.businessinsider.com/destiny-first-day-sales-2014-9 You pay PSN and XBL Premiums for the services that THEY offer, the Proposal is to Bankroll BUNGIE big time for new expanded content so that we can all explore those new worlds that we want, so that we can have more than one Raid per expansion, That why all the big MMO's have Multiple raids and add-ins per expansion, Because they can financially afford to Bankroll them into development. And whoever is saying that Destiny is different that WOW, and other MMO's is wrong. WOW had jack when it first started in content, compared to what it has now, and the only reason it has so much content now is because player BANKROLLED the expansions. Also just because they released the DLC, doesnt mean that everyone (which is quite obvious with all the complaining on here) bought the DLC, there are HUGE risks when launching DLC content for a game, they could invest 2 million into the content, and only get back 500k in sales, so now they have just lost 1.5 million for giving away too much in there DLC. If you ask me TDB was a test run to see how many people would buy the DLC, while giving good content, and also ensuring that they could BANKROLL the next DLC and perhaps have more money to develop for it. Stop getting Hung up on DLC, XBL, PSN, this post was pure to express that some of us want to throw money at BUNGIE so that they CAN develop Expansions that have 5 raid 20 new strikes and 100 new weapons. I dont like alot of whats in destiny right now, but i DO like the concept and I DO like the Game itself, and what is offered is awesome in comparison (Oh wait there isnt one as no one has done what Bungie is trying to do, which is melt FPS, RPG, and MMO all into one on a console) to what is out there. ::::Edit 2:::: I find it funny just because I suggested this method of getting better quality content that I am instantly labeled as someone who works for Bungie or Activision. I have not, nor will I ever work for Activision. Now Bungie on the other hand, while I dont work for them either, I would love too (if you guys need a Network Engineer, or just a Bug Hunter though I'm your man).
