PAY TO PLAY IS THE ONLY WAY! I WANT TO BE CHARGED MONTHLY! FOR GOOD CONTENT!

All I ever see on here is people complaining, and to be honest some rightfully so. I have TDB and still thought it was horrible that they didnt make a separate playlist for those that do not have the DLC.
But there is a solution to this.
Pay To Play! It's simple as that, everyone is wanting Destiny to be the best it can be, and that requires Money! Yes yes, you have already given them your 60 dollars you say, you paid for the game already and shouldnt have to pay more you say.
Well I SAY YOUR WRONG! Why? It's simple, everyone is whining about the way the game is playing, that it's not what we all thought it was going to be (fpsmmo). Well, if you all want it to be like an MMO (which I most def do) then we need to treat it as such.
But but but a Pay to Play wont work on a Console you say. WRONG! Look at FFXIV: ARR IT'S THRIVING! Anyone remember Phantasy Star Online for the PS2? Or Phantasy Star Universe on the 360 and Ps2? It has been done before and it can work again!
Everyone is wanting massive amounts of content, lets face it that is just not going to happen withou some serious payroll going on, especially since the team has already fractured for Destiny 2 development.
Look at WOW, EVE, Phantasy Star 2, and all the other P2P MMO's, they are thriving with content. This is what we need to be able to explore Destiny the way we all want
And think about it, they already want to make a Destiny 2. If we could convince them to goto P2P there would be no need for a second destiny, when they could switch focus onto Content for Destiny. there is so much potential but it's not going to happen without community Support and, yes, Money.

Everyone seems to be confusing XBL and PSN premium fee's with Monthly fee's that are proposed. BUNGIE does NOT get a DIME of the fee's charged for XBL and PSN. Final Fantasy 14 ARR is on the PS4, so that means they shouldn't have to pay the monthly fee is what all you are all saying that are complaining because they pay for PSN? No they pay the Monthly Premium to Square - Enix to play FFXIV: ARR to enjoy that game, and they pay PSN for the Network services that Sony provides them, like party chat, friends lists, your Netflix and media and server for the other games that you play on your PS4 (OMG there are other games on PSN than Destiny??!)
Secondly BUNGIE AND ACTIVISION DID NOT DO 500 Million is Sales, They did 500 Million in SALE -INS, BIG BIG Difference http://www.businessinsider.com/destiny-first-day-sales-2014-9
You pay PSN and XBL Premiums for the services that THEY offer, the Proposal is to Bankroll BUNGIE big time for new expanded content so that we can all explore those new worlds that we want, so that we can have more than one Raid per expansion, That why all the big MMO's have Multiple raids and add-ins per expansion, Because they can financially afford to Bankroll them into development.
And whoever is saying that Destiny is different that WOW, and other MMO's is wrong. WOW had jack when it first started in content, compared to what it has now, and the only reason it has so much content now is because player BANKROLLED the expansions.
Also just because they released the DLC, doesnt mean that everyone (which is quite obvious with all the complaining on here) bought the DLC, there are HUGE risks when launching DLC content for a game, they could invest 2 million into the content, and only get back 500k in sales, so now they have just lost 1.5 million for giving away too much in there DLC. If you ask me TDB was a test run to see how many people would buy the DLC, while giving good content, and also ensuring that they could BANKROLL the next DLC and perhaps have more money to develop for it.
Stop getting Hung up on DLC, XBL, PSN, this post was pure to express that some of us want to throw money at BUNGIE so that they CAN develop Expansions that have 5 raid 20 new strikes and 100 new weapons. I dont like alot of whats in destiny right now, but i DO like the concept and I DO like the Game itself, and what is offered is awesome in comparison (Oh wait there isnt one as no one has done what Bungie is trying to do, which is melt FPS, RPG, and MMO all into one on a console) to what is out there.

I find it funny just because I suggested this method of getting better quality content that I am instantly labeled as someone who works for Bungie or Activision. I have not, nor will I ever work for Activision. Now Bungie on the other hand, while I dont work for them either, I would love too (if you guys need a Network Engineer, or just a Bug Hunter though I'm your man).

All pretends to be grown ups who know so much of the world but can't even tell the difference between playing WoW since Destiny Launch and Destiny since Launch. Well I can and here's the -blam!-ing math: [b]WoW $ 15 a month x 3 + $ 50 Game = $ 95 (And counting! Next month is another $ 15 and after that another $ 15. Destiny $ 60 Game + $ 35 Season Pass = $ 95 (And you can play including the NEXT DLC without any extra charge)[/b] By the time the next DLC is out and you've played it. You prolly have spent another $ 45 playing wow. So you tell me where he's wrong at this! And don't even start about PSplus or Xbox Live because those are services provided by the console, not the game... What's next comparing internet provider prices?

looking at the content provided so far by bungie i would call investing 15 a month a risky investment. also i have played my share of mmos even from beta or just launched and all those games had way more content then bungie with the dlc offers now. i recomend that you first test bungie if they can come up with great content that is worth that monthly payment. this can be done by a crowd funded expansion pack where the community gets input in what it will contain the more people invest the more content. but even then if it is a succes proberly from a legal standpoint and at the risk of losing the trust of there consumers they will never be able to chance the destiny from a buying it once to sudenly having to pay a monthly fee. to give a example imagine you start up skyrim as usual suddenly your prompted with a message saying that they have changed the game to a monthly subscription fee and if you want to keep playing you have to pay. you have to atleast see how ludicrous this is not to mention most likely illegal because it was never mentioned on purchase. so instead of a monthly fee i suggest we invest in a crowd funded expansion pack where we have input as investers and if this becomes a succes we can keep the model for destiny two or then switch to a montly payment for destiny 2 but for destiny 1 this isnt realistic.

Half this game player base would leave including myself. I'm sorry but if I'm going to buy a P2P game it's going to be wow. Not destiny. Not now, or anytime in the near future. As far as I can tell, it would most likely come out as a big pile of crap, and we'd be even more upset we're paying a subscription for it.

I wanted so badly to blast you, but you confused me with logical arguments. $10a month is not so different than $30 every 4, not to mention you can walk away at anytime. I would I could see this working in the future. $60 gets you the game and the first 3 month, after that a $10 fee for continuing updates. The devs would also need to be more responsible for content knowing that money was dependent on customer satisfaction, not presales of hyped dlc.

Pay to play is an old model that no one really likes in the first place, hell id rather see free to play with microtransactions (not for guns or armor) than see pay to play. Ps bungie and activision made that 500m back in the first week of release so either way you word it, they made that back plus more already.

2 답변I'm Tapunks Calmbreeze and I approve this message. Though if they keep screwing their loyal players, I don't approve. This entire DLC was a giant middle finger to the founding players. Vendors no longer sell 29 gear, vendors sell 31 gear with no real effort to achieve it (it should require rank10+ to acquire while keeping old gear in stock), exotics restart to be upgraded, new materials make all your previous farming irrelevant, new players with under 10 hours of play are equal to founding players with over 100 hours. All of the above made everything we did in the past three months a waste of time as far as progression in a "multiplayer interactive FPS" or whatever CYA claused name they're calling this MMO. They're going the path of Blizzard. Raking their loyal fans over the coals just to get a different genre of players $$. If they don't change their corrupt greedy ways soon, the game will just be another "well that was fun for little while" game with no impact on the gaming community. You don't plan for world domination by appealing to the short attention spanned 5-year-olds just looking for the next thing they can feel like a God playing. You do it by growing with your loyal fans... not in spite of them.

1 답변Destiny has like 5% of the content of vanilla WoW, the comparison is pretty ridiculous. Yes it looks great, and the shooter mechanics are great, but there is no comparison in terms of content.

7 답변I am more than okay with this, it seems like the majority of Destiny players have not played a mmo before. Not only that but were not expecting it to like a mmo. But mmo's are all about grinding and all of them start bare as hell. It is called vanilla for a reason. For more content it needs to be bankrolled. The ff game on the ps4 works great, has a lot of content due to the monthly subscription.
