Bungie Lied to us..... Again
When Bungie was interviewed about this game before release, they made so many big claims, most of which they have NOT followed up on.
Just when I thought this game couldn't get any worse, what do they do? They lock Weekly Strike Missions behind a paywall! What the hell Bungie? Are weekly strikes part of the DLC? NO. They have been in the game since release!
Now what was it you guys assured us about Destiny before? You said you would NOT have to PAY TO PLAY. You said that you would not have to pay money to succeed in the game. You said the game was NOT an MMO. What the hell is this then? You are LYING to your fans TO THE FACE.
I don't care if the DLC is 15 bucks. You sons of b*tches are so two-faced you locked out the weekly and nightfall strikes because you knew those are the ONLY end-game missions, the only way to get strange coins. Great job *ssholes, you successfully made it so everyone is required to buy the DLC now to participate in any endgame content. You essentially just took part of the game that I already bought, and shoved it behind your paywall to make us have to buy your DLC sh*t.
Well I'd just like to say F*ck you! I'm done with you and your bullsh*t! I will keep tabs on this game, and if and when Destiny 2 is released I will be there, IF you don't f*ck it up again. Until then, I'm done with you. You spit in the face of your fans, and I'm tired of it. I want to enjoy your game, but you are determined to alienate me. Deej, you seem like a really cool guy, but your words are nothing but BS anymore. You never address the real issues in the game. You never give us the ACTUAL solutions this game NEEDS. You ramble on every week with your empty words, and I'm done with that as well.
See you all in 3 years with Destiny 2..... hundreds of dollars and many curse words later.

Guess what, 1. they never lied to us, some people are just idiots and made wrong assumptions, being stupid and disproved doesn't make them liars. 2. You are not locked out of anything, new content is in rotation, the vast majority of strikes are still from the base game and will show up as weekly/nightfall far more often than dlc. The only liar here is you.

3 답변The thing I don't get is why there are so many people taking the time to rant about how they're not going to buy the dlc or play destiny again on destiny forums. If I play a game I don't like I just stop playing it or sell it, none of this rush to their forums to write essays about why I won't play their game again

6 답변The other day I saw a billboard while driving down the freeway. Pasted on that billboard was a picture of the best looking cheeseburger I have ever seen. It was huge, bacon was stacked up real high on it, cheese dripping down the sides, leafy green lettuce peeking out here and there, it looked fantastic. I was so excited about this thing that I pulled over and started to google reviews about it. "Best burger in the biz!" "What's not to like about this monster burger, it has everything!" I have to go get this -blam!-ing cheeseburger ASAP I was thinking, I did my research and it was time to enjoy it. I get to the fast food place, slap ten bucks down and five minutes later I had some piece of shit cheeseburger sitting on a plate in front of me. It looked nothing like the one in the picture, it wasn't even close. I was so disgusted with it I left it sitting there on the table while I started looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to me. No one gave a shit, I couldn't believe it! Here they were, eating the same burger and actually enjoying it! They didn't even realize how ripped off they were! My first thought was to go to (generic bullshit social media app.) and post this all over the place so people knew about this! "I can't believe this is actually happening to me" I thought "whoever is responsible for this needs to pay, I am going to boycott this restaurant forever, or just until the newer one comes out..." Congratulations, advertising works.

2 답변This!! It's not the point that $20 isn't that much money. Or you pay more to do ________ for a couple hours. The point is that if you defend and support lesser DLC, studios and developers will realize that they don't have to put in as much time, money, effort to sell their DLC. And from then forth you can watch the quality of your beloved pastime, gaming, rapidly decline. Why would studios put in their best effort to give the consumer the best quality possible, spend millions more in development, when the gamers will buy it anyhow? And even worse, defend it!

The Weekly Heroic is not the only way to get strange coins. It's the fastest way to get strange coins yes, but definitely not the only way.

The weekly is only locked for this week. It will return to normal next week, where upon the normal rotation will start, meaning there's a chance every week that the weekly's for that week will be locked. P.S. The DLC is $20, not 15
