Nah we tried that too. I'm thinking it's because the game "gave" him the sparrow to redeem, but he wasn't aware and deleted the character without redeeming it. And I read from Bungie that once you redeem it on the first character you log in as, the rest of your characters can get it as well. Therein lies the problem. But thank you for the suggestion!
