A question to my fellow warlocks
Like almost [i]every[/i] warlock, I already got the voidfang vestments. Now, he isn't selling the upgrade for them.
But - who would have guessed it - he does sell the upgraded version (with better strengh stats than the one I have!)
Would it be a good idea to buy it and dismantle the old ones for shards?
I'm planning on doing that, [b]BUT[/b] I'm not quite sure:
In order to reach level 32 you'd have to drop the raid helmet (in case you'd wear an exotic chest piece), which seems to be hard mode only, and the hard mode seems to be damn near impossible without being 32. An exotic helmet would be the answer.
So the options are:
-> Go for an exotic helmet (like Apotheosis Veil)
-> Buy the Voidfangs a second time
-> Wait for the voidfang-upgrade or better even exotic chests like Heart of the Praxic Fire (this is the one I want to use eventually)

3 답변I am buying the void fangs and sharding my old ones. Saves me the 7400 glimmer and having to wait for xur a second time to finish the upgrade, I'll have the one from my current set.

I was in your boat... Couldn't decide, but I was getting mighty tired of the vestments. I made the decision to use the 90+ motes I'd been saving hoping for a Praxic and try to nab a decent helmet. After opening the first two engrams I didn't get Jack; Ahh, but the third gave me the Obsidian Mind! I upgraded it through all of the perks and it is just gnarly how good it is! You can practically chain supers with it if you're spec'd right! I would absolutely go with a helmet though. We all remember how hard it was to get a raid helm out of VoG.

Coming from a guy with over 13 days played as a Warlock, I think Voidfangs are one of the most effective exotics for PvP. I mean you spawn with FULL grenade energy every death! At one point I ran stats of just intellect and strength because I had no need for discipline due to the buff. It's also quite good if you run double Fusion grenades on the Sunsinger, two sticky grenades every respawn is hack!

I bought the new version from xur and dismantled my old one, then I bought an exotic engram and got obsidian mind so I pretty much won't be using my voidfang for a while lol....I still love how cool it looks though so I'll keep it for collection
