Stuck at "Installing Destiny: Transferring Game Content" screen
I recently needed to reinstall the operating system on my PS4 and consequently, needed to reinstall destiny on my console. Everything went smoothly up until the "Installing Destiny: Transferring Game Content" screen. When I got there, the progress bar was barely moving past 35%. Even after leaving the console on overnight ~12 hrs, the progress bar only showed .01% progress. I restarted my ps4, re-downloaded the update file, and then got stuck on the same screen. The game has been on this screen for about 4 hours now and has moved .02%. I have made sure that the PS4 didn't crash or hang - I can still get on PSN, the PlayStation Store, and do everything I would normally be able to do with the PS4.
Does anyone know if there is a solution for this?
Also, I have the physical copy of the game.
EDIT: I cleaned the disc and it seemed to fix it.

If you are on Playstation make sure to check your downloads (outside of the in game progress that us shows). If it says cannot download then that is why it is stuck. The only reason it shouldn't be able to download would be regarding storage space or internet. I hope this helps.

Speeding up download: I found with digital download at least you have to start the game and initiate download - look and insure it is also on the notifications menu on PS4 as being downloaded - close the game and allow to download completely on menu - then restart game from there. Much faster.

3 답변If you own a digital copy, when on this screen, you must also have the download in your notifications turned on, or else it won't work

5 답변Rebooted my internet, ps4, and washed disc with hand soap and warm water. Instantly fixed it

1 답변All I had to do was clean my disc, restart, clean it again,(make sure there are no smudges) then i put it in rest mode for 15 minutes. After that i restarted a few times and it started to download really fast

3 답변I am currently attempting a fix for this. I had downloaded the trial of destiny before I put my disc in and the game ran fine. Once I got my new harddrive installed I got the same problem but I was stuck at 6%. I recommend you download the trial version as it is the full game but with most content locked. Once the disc is inserted it will unlock the content as you have a physical copy present. I hope this helps

can someone help i've been stuck at 2% for 2 days now i've tried cleaning it (my discs are pretty clean already) and that didn't do anything it moved from 0.36 to 0.44 but that's it...i wouldn't call that a big change. i used soap and water to clean it but like i said it was already clean so it seemed pointless and it was :'( i just wanna play destiny lol.
