31 Gear (a possible solution!)
From what I've seen from today's posts, players aren't very happy with how easy it is to purchase level 31 gear. The main issue being that people who worked hard/got level 30 after weeks of playing. So, here is my solution:
Players can only purchase level 31 gear from the vendor if their character is level 29 or 30 at the time. This way, people still need to toil away in the vault to reach level 29 or 30, and can't just buy their way to the top.
Are there any other ways to limit players from buying their way to the top? Put your suggestions below!

2 답변New gear should of been [u]added[/u] to vendors not replacing all the old gear. The new gear should of been rank 10 or so. This way all the old gear and content is not automatically passed over as it takes time. Theres no reason not to skip the VoG raid because you can buy new 33 light gear at such a low rank.

2 답변Why do you people think that just because the gear can be bought it wasn't worked for ? In all actuality the gear at the vendors is worked for well more than a lucky drop in a raid......

Let's also not forget that even though you can buy 31 armor at the tower, which does take effort and time to have enough marks and shards to upgrade, it's during the new raid that you get the slightly better gear by getting the rng drops which you can't buy so that satisfies everyone. When the next expansion comes out it will be exactly the same way to get to 33/34.

This nonsense about buying your way to a certain lvl and only the hardest of the hardcore are somehow "worthy" of their rank. Such B.S. Every single person has to pay 60 dollars to play the game. They have to earn currencies through playing to purchase armor and weapons. Noone is getting something for nothing (with 1 exception). Even rngesus loot. You have to play to get drops. The raid doesn't make you better than everyone else. It just means you've got more time than others.

4 답변No! Omg ignore idiots complaining about getting to 31. First off, 30 was NOTHING special. Anyone who has played a game with actual progression (95% of you came straight from FPS and never played an rpg or mmo in your life) knows that 30 was not going to be the max forever and it probably wasnt intentional for there to be onlt one way to hit max level. If it was they obviously realized it wasnt a good idea because not everyone likes to nor wants to raid, another thing most of you do not understand completely either, please play another game with an actual raid Secondly, players can actually look some sort of different from each other now! They actually tried to fix that issue, while trying to allow everyone to hit max in their own way. not everyone liked how the raid stuff looked either, i personally thought hunter IB stuff looked so much better. Third, they added in commendations for more than just to slpw your progress and make the game last longer. Correct me if im wrong but commendations do not drop until after a certain lvl in a faction. That means people WORKED to get to that rank in order to buy that gear. And RNG blessing you in a raid is NOT working for your gear just because the raid is hard to do. Spmetimes the nightfall is just as hard depending pn the strike and you can still end up with only strange coins and shards. I other games with raids, you could end up with NOTHING. Not an upgrade material not a weapon or recipe for a cream pie, nothing. People need to stop making things difficult for others just because they feel prideful or dignified for reaching a certain arc in the first part of the game... its like me going yayy i hit lvl 60 in wow -blam!- all those fake 60s out there who didnt hit 60 in a raid *max gets upped to 85 the next week* Wahhh wahhhh now people can go higher than me! Thats all im seeing.

Bad idea! I don't like the Raid much so I would never be able to progress further than 29 and thus wouldn't have bought the SP. Also buying Level 31 gear is NOT easy at all, you need 4 pieces, two of which need a commendation (either Vanguard or Crucible) which takes a heck of a lot of time (at +25 rep per Strike/Winning Crucible match) if by chance you had just ranked up at them right before the DLC hit. Plus the gear costs a total of 120+75+75+75 = 345 Marks, even if you split it up over Vanguard and Crucible you won't be doing it this week if you didn't start with a lot of Marks to begin with (I didn't)... You can also hopefully upgrade the piece of Exotic armour at Xur coming friday (if he has it), but you do need Strange Coins for that which need you to be able to play the Weekly which means you need to do the Eris' bounties first before you can get to work on the rest of the Rep + Marks grinding...

They level 31 gear is in line with how the game has been since the beginning. The tower venders have always sold armor that could et you one level below the maximum level possible. Congrats to the level 30s who were favored by the rng, guess what they also at least say they tried to address this issues making new raid gear drop more. Every level 30 knew that the cap was being raised so of course new gear would come out. Old raid gear didn't put you two levels up so why would the new? As for commendations they are to decrease the amount of guns you can buy, which is of set but the cryptarch now being kinder. They did a pretty good job balancing all the new gear Comming out tying to make it fiat for all players not just the ones who could play enough to get to 30 before hand. I've seen enough new players to the game recently to completely understand keeping the game in line with how it was before the dlc.

4 답변작성자: rinoas_angelo 12/9/2014 9:57:31 PMFrom what I've seen, raid gear is dropping more often now, Bungie will keep us playing the raid for radiant materials. And that is how it should be. Get Gear --> Get Materials to upgrade. Nothing is more demoralizing than just receiving upgrade materials for gear you can't find via RNG. I will probably receive nothing but materials from CE Raid tonight, because Bungie and RNGesus are banded together to hate on me :) If I don't find at least 1 piece of raid gear between my 3 characters this week, Destiny is getting shelved forever :) No more treadmill grinding hell without payouts for this guy :) Hopefully, moving forward, getting to the cap should not be as time consuming.

작성자: Clayton3434 12/10/2014 1:28:28 AMDid 1 nightfall and got a new exotic helmet, light level starts at 30 now on the new exotics, then did 4 crucible matches for the marks, did 2 bounties, I then had enough marks to buy all new gear. I'm now back at level 30 and have almost ranked all my new gear up after just a few hours. I've also got a new scout rifle that's purple and seems to do a lot more damage to everything. Tomorrow when I've completed all the days bounties I should be level 31 n a bit lol, see its easy

1 답변1 idea is players can buy lvl 30 gear but they need to get gear from VoG to get 31 then gear from the new raid to get 32 that way VoG stays relevant. Just an idea
