Now everyone gets to be lvl 30.
So after numerous raids on different characters, and being lvl 30 for about two weeks. That all doesnt mean squat because now vendors will be giving out legendary gear to all. Really... So your telling me someone who gets the game now will have access to lvl 30 at ease while most of us actually grinded for it. Doesnt make sense to me, I believe the raids should be stepping stones to a higher rank and next raid. But thats just me who sees a way to make the game last longer. But hey, who am I
Edit 1: Most are missing my main point that I thought raids should be stepping stones to each other. It would Lengthen the game, possibly making it last closer to 10 years like they said this game would.
Edit 2: I really am loving all the hate. Nothing better than to open up the app, and see all of your smiling faces.

7 답변작성자: travasky 12/8/2014 8:34:51 PMI've played the raid for months now on multiple characters on normal and hard. No boots for me. So I shouldn't go buy some better boots tomorrow? I should keep playing VoG until the KYP (keep you playing) system blesses lowly me with some boots?

2 답변작성자: Zgoldenlion 12/8/2014 9:57:52 PMThey put some caps so to get a full set of armor at minimum you will need rank 6 with vendor so you can have 4 commendations or whatever they call it so you can buy the items plus all the marks(100 per week).Plus they still need to save up shards. Don't act like it will be a walk in the park, a new person will probably take a month of dedicated play to get 30.

I see where you're coming from, I'm in the same boat... I also see where the 29 raiders are coming from who haven't had luck with drops. Still though, feels like a waste of time and mats upgrading the old gear, didn't get to enjoy 30 status long...

5 답변I'm a level 29 1/3.I've grinded my ass off to get where I am. I am going to buy that that gear because I deserve it. Level 30 players are not the only ones who put in a serious grind. Any player beyond level 27 had to work to get there, even with rng.

4 답변At ease? You get 3 crucible Marks per win. Helm 120 chest 65 boots 65 weapon 150 gloves 65. That's 465 marks to purchase level 30 armor. That's a total of 155 crucible WINS. Def not easy or quick. You're an idiot

I agree, but it is to keep the game valid to new comers and also, they will not have the vanguard marks needed to obtain all armor, unless they make 3 of 1 type and use all 300 marks to het gear 65*3+125 = 320, so even then they will have to wait 2 weeks roughly.

But they want to play new content in the expansions like story missions and strikes, that's hopefully more challenging than previous content. But they wouldn't be able to enjoy that new content unless they played a part of the game they can't or don't want to play Or if there is someone who just loves Crucible and isn't fond of the Raid, and looks forward to the next Iron Banner as their big event. Imagine someone who plays a lot of Raid, but doesn't play a lot of crucible coming in and wiping the floor with the Crucible player just because they played a part of the game that the Crucible player doesn't enjoy. Someone who kicks a lot of ass at Crucible should be able to buy Crucible or Faction gear that gets them to 32 or whatever level. That way you can look at two different guardians, one is decked out is hard to get Raid gear, another is decked out in hard to get Crucible gear, and you can tell what kind of player they are just by looking at them. Also if you enjoyed grinding the VOG shouldn't that be enough? Isn't the point of all this just to have fun? Not to mention people who don't play VOG won't ever get to have VOG gear or weapons. They may get to level 30 without playing VOG, but they won't ever get that sweet Mythoclast or Epilogue. Those will remain exclusive to you no matter how many expansions come out.

If they forced people do do old content before they could move onto new content this game would absolutely not make it ten years. In 5 months from now how many people will be running the vog enough to take new people through it enough to get geared for crota? Then through crota to gear up for the house of wolves raid. It would destroy any new players desire to start because they are months and months behind and can't play without grinding old stuff. Old content should be about playing for fun or collecting a cool rare item not grinding old stuff while all your friends play the new stuff

4 답변He has a point. In most MMOs one raid's drops is required to perform well in the next one, this keeps former content valid and avoids having to create more new things to keep people busy. WoW does this with every expansion. Expansion hits with one raid, six months or so later another hits, and shortly after that the end one hits. Sometimes there's more than three. They should have nixed the faction gear and made it only possible to hit 30 by obtaining VoG armor. Then you head from there to Crota. Get to 32 through that raid so you can do whatever raid is in Wolves. They're doing it ass backwards.

You are totally missing the point. Bungie needs to keep the game competitive for new players, or else the population will die off sooner rather than later. Also, as a #forever29, I can't tell a new player to just grind the raid and hope to attain level 30. Some will. Some won't. That's the awfulness of the VoG's RNGesus. Bungie should have done the right thing when they released "Destiny", but at least they are doing the right thing now.

It's how games stay relevant. They allow new players to catch up with the new endgame. New players wouldn't pick up the game if they had to spend 2 months grinding in order to be able to get access to the new game. Also , your post implies you didn't enjoy playing the game. That you wished you didn't have to play and grind in order to cap out that raid gear. Which begs the question. Why the bleep did you do it then? Play the game to enjoy it. What difference does it make to you what happens to a new player tomorrow. Go play the new raid.

Well, Raid gear does have abilities that other armor doesn't have. But I agree with you. If you wanna be a high level, you work hard. Which means doing the Raid like the rest of us have. "Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds"

I'm level 30 but I still haven't got the raid boots. But I'm still gonna keep playing the VOG till I get them just so I can have the full set, in the hopes that one day i might be able to display gear like suits of armour as decoration in my ship/apartment.

One day people are gonna to be 38 44 58 62 are you crazy. This is what you gripe about. Guess what there are people who ran the raid once and got full raid gear. Guess they should have it taken away by your rules. Your way of thinking is offensive.
