Now everyone gets to be lvl 30.
So after numerous raids on different characters, and being lvl 30 for about two weeks. That all doesnt mean squat because now vendors will be giving out legendary gear to all. Really... So your telling me someone who gets the game now will have access to lvl 30 at ease while most of us actually grinded for it. Doesnt make sense to me, I believe the raids should be stepping stones to a higher rank and next raid. But thats just me who sees a way to make the game last longer. But hey, who am I
Edit 1: Most are missing my main point that I thought raids should be stepping stones to each other. It would Lengthen the game, possibly making it last closer to 10 years like they said this game would.
Edit 2: I really am loving all the hate. Nothing better than to open up the app, and see all of your smiling faces.

2 답변To your edit that's why they changed it up. They can't leave gear at 29 because that will discourage new players. 31 is the new 29 in terms of what it represents. Some people (like me) are fine with it but we have been 30 for a much longer time with our fave gear at max for months. I can understand your grief if those 11raid runs you did were all painful and pulling teeth as well as getting them upgrade but sadly in the grand scheme of things in order to keep the bigger groups they have t\o burn guys like you.

24 답변I've killed countless vex.. Spent hours upon hours of time in the vault for the prized helmet needed to reach 30. Only to hear all my time was in vain. Ah but I won't be making that mistake again. I'll play when I feel like it, but never again put real effort into your game. I don't need to worry about getting armor or guns because they don't do anything. I could literally ditch the game now, come back when house of wolves comes out, buy my level 32 gear, and just go back and play crotas end without any difficulty because that's how useless any of the rewards are. I'm glad that this happened now before I invested too much time and effort. For all the people who logged over 250 hours of play time and got all level 30s, maxing all their weapons and what not.. I feel sorry for you. Because that shiny raid helmet.. And those nice iron banner boots and gauntlets some you guys grinded for.. We're a complete and utter waste of your time. Because now people can buy the dlc, and easily surpass each and every one of you without ever needing to go into the vault of glass. Tl;dr The dlc made hard-core destiny playing irrelevant, and casual or new players may now rejoice! And I for one am thankful that I know now that Activision and bungie value the almighty dollar more than respecting my time and effort and would rather someone buy a new copy of their game and immediately play the highest level of content without ever having to touch the vault of glass. Become legend my a$$.. They straight up give it to you. And I'll let them. While I play other games and live a better life for it.

I saw how hard people tried to get to 30 however, and I would be annoyed if all my hard work was rendered meaningless. I thought this was a game in which we could become legend. It turns out instead it's a game in which late comers are allowed to catch up easily. How can anyone be legend if we are all the same?

3 답변I personally think the raids should be stepping stones for gear. You do one raid that gears you up for the next that just seems to be a logical way of doing it. Though I'm not that fussed I'm just happy playing the content.

They raised the max level. It is no longer 30. When 30 was the max level they did not allow you to buy your way to 30. They allowed you to buy your way to 26-29 which is the minimum level to be in order to enjoy the content. Now the max level is 32 and they are allowing you to buy your way to 30 which is the minimum in order to enjoy the content. Level 30's who were lucky enough to have the time/luck in order to get the raid gear enjoyed max level. Now you have a chance to do it again. Those who wish to grind and earn their way to max level can still do so. Those who simply don't have enough time/patience or simply don't care about hitting max level can still enjoy the new content. This is not Bungie flipping you off. This is not some slight that you all must rise up in arms over. This is Bungie simply progressing the game forward for EVERYONE not just the max level people. Nothing has changed except the level number.

3 답변I agree with you the raid is now pretty much obselete! I have 2 level 29s missing one piece of raid gear was gonna go on and try and get tonight but now it's lost all thrill because I can go on and buy the stuff. Little dissapointed.... But I see why bungie is doing it but maybe what they could have done is make it if you have completed first raid the gear is available which means people still have to Atleast pass first raid to move on

It's the only way to progress the game, and allow others who haven't gotten raid gear to enjoy the content they're releasing. Just remember there are others who have grinded just as hard as you and don't have the gear to show it.

On the other hand you could have just played for your own enjoyment & your own achievements. Neither of those 2 things should now be ruined because of what other players are or aren't doing. I have done just 1 raid & intend to do others. If the opportunity arises though for me to get to level 30 by other means I will. It is just playing a game. Good luck to you but this angst about what others do is just bizarre.

It's like any game these days. Basically everyone can now hit 30 because bungie want the game to be more user friendly (so kids can play and level up). I guess it comes down to personal accomplishments in the game now. Feel proud for your gear and how you earnt it and not care what others think.

4 답변It shouldn't be sold, before u raid Crota's end u should be able to raid vog blindfolded. Now vog is a skippable raid which is a shame. It's all about the money though n new players want instant gratification.

Getting all new gear from vendors his you at 27. Then you have to grind for hours to rank up your gear. Your point has no merit other then crying about what you feel is unjust. Games with the same structure, when an expansion hits or dlc , it's a fresh wipe. So new and old players have the ability to complete the new content side by side. Forcing others to see your narrow minded pov is painful. Get over it! !!!

9 답변I just love all the responses. "I grind ALOT" "I ran the raids countless times" "I deserve to be 30" "RNG hates me" But looking at their profiles, they cleared maybe 3 or 5 times total. That's laughable. And they call us lv 30s entitled.

After raiding for weeks, I still needed either the chest armor or helmet to get to 30. Finally yesterday, I got 2 helmets at the same time. Today, I could have just bought an even better one. RNG sucks and I rather grind with purpose than raid without luck.

I see you point. It is weird that they are handing it out to everyone. So a lv 20 can almost jump to 30?!? That's odd however for a player like me who throughout the raids all I got were ascendant crap this is a blessing
