I'm sure the responses you got were rather rude but ill grammar won't help defend your cause for insulting part of somebody's culture. Also this belongs in #community, I fail to see how this pertains as a Destiny topic.

As a very patriotic American, the people here have almost all but forgot what it truly means to be US. (Pun intended) The majority of people you'll hear from are all self entitled busy bodies who cling onto the glory of the past like they own it, rather than having it be revered as what we could be. If you need proof just look at the majority of the posts on here.... That being said, whether or not you know of our holidays please respect them as I would respect yours. Sincerely a young American with the soul of old.

I'm an American and anything anyone says about America is fine by me. We have a President who has never had a real job and a militarized police force that kills for fun. America is not the greatest nation. We created the Internet and are far from the best at speeds. We vote for politicians who are idiots and crooks. We put people in jail for smoking Marijuana. Need I continue?

You realize 144 comments isn't indicative of an entire nation, right? I'm American, yet I don't give a shit about other people not liking holidays my country celebrates, because I'm sure other countries have ones I wouldn't care for either.

My last post! Ironically god has decided that two countries that hated each other up till ww1 would become the best of friends. Together we have beaten many foes, both foreign and domestic. The world has never known a greater force than American and Brits alliance. We have accomplished much together and I hope we will accomplish much more. United we stand, divided we fall. Try to remember that when your allowing petty differences to create a rift between us.

If you don't like our holidays that is fine. Don't understand how you miss any "shows" as you called them unless you live here. Besides it is only a week. It must really bother you that we put out Christmas decorations near Halloween. Like whatever holiday you want does not matter to me

6 답변People are taking this way to seriously , in all honesty an Englishmen making a statement like this about "an American holiday" makes me laugh a bit, considering the term "Thanksgiving" actually came from the English. But in the long run everyone is entitled to their own opinion ...
