If u acquire any of the dark below new exotics, old exotics, exotic bounties, or engram exotics after the dark below is out. It will already be upgraded. The upgrade system with xur is for the exotics we already had. I'm gonna hold onto my exotic bounties until Tuesday.

I would understand if the weapon I maxed out continued in the tree I've already built my legend on. But the explanation for how you reset your exotic was start over. I love this game but sometimes it makes me wonder if it's forcing filler just to say this game couldn't be finished like they said. I play wow so I appreciate that I don't have to toss old gear as useless but this game is pretty grindy for rewards based on luck and I'd hate to have to restart every 3 months for a dlc. If you understand what I'm trying to say.
