Why do people put "The" In front of every name of a gear and weapon?
I've been seeing that lately, and it's not correct. It's not in their names, yet people adds them like they are.
Huh, guess I've found a pet peeve.

1 답변The adds ownership to the title. Like The Bible. It's the book there is no other book when you say the bible. The last word is just that. It owns it

2 답변Some do, The Last Word for example. I generally skip it though and just use the name of the exotic.

9 답변작성자: S7Oracle 12/4/2014 4:20:54 AMMy guess is it's because the exotics shine with individuality (as weapons). They aren't some off the factory-line generic lead throwers. In lore these weapons are supposed to be one of a kind. If Destiny were to follow by lore within gameplay exclusively. You would not see more than one of each of these weapons. Just my two cents, take it as you will...
