Vex mythoclast still a bit OP in PvP
I was playing a Venus rumble and multiple other games with this random guy was using the mythoclast and was destroying me at every range on that map. I was using my shadow price and I switched over to my mida but it was such a small map it didn't help.
at one point he got 5 kills in about 3 seconds with that.
I understand it's the hardest gun to get but the PvP should be "balanced" as the game claims it is.
Which since its iron banner I could care less but regular PvP it's like pre nerf suros
It shouldn't be nerfed for PvE
*Edit 1 they either buffed or ninja buffed the impact on the vex because a lot of people are saying it's hitting harder and there are videos on it showing the numbers.
*Edit 2 there has been at least easily 30 or more people who said this gun is op just in this thread from what I've seen so far I can't reply or read all replies. Because there are over 900 of them I would say 300 of them are me replying.

12 답변I have a vex and i decided to use it again after the update it is very op even probably stronger than the original version but that doesn't change the fact that most of us actully worked hard for our vexs and not push athenon off the edge and plus most of us are still great players without it

5 답변Maybe in the hands of someone who actually has skill. Last night, I entered a Rumble match and noticed one guy wielding a Vex Mythoclast. Now, usually, I won't use mine in the crucible to avoid being "that guy" but since there was someone else in there with one, I decided to take mine out and see how it handled. I proceeded to utterly destroy everyone else in the game to the point that some started to run away when they saw me coming and one guy rage quit. I was #1 in the post game stats and the other Mythoclast user was at #2. So, the next match, I decided to switch to a legendary auto rifle. The other guy with the Mythoclast opted to keep running with it. I once again dominated, albeit with a bit more effort. Whenever I came across the guy still using his Mythoclast, I utterly destroyed him, every single time. I guess that must have ruined his morale because this time he was near the bottom of the post game stats and kept landing there for the next few matches. The gun definitely rewards those in the crucible who know how to use it but it doesn't work miracles for those who suck. If you're getting destroyed by it consistently by everyone you see using it, you just suck. Sorry, but I think the gun is in its rightful place and once the expansion hits, it will blend in with all the other strong weapons coming down the pike.

1 답변I'm pretty sure the only thing they added to the vex is a higher base damage of 323 and in crucible all the weapons are capped at a certain damage just more ppl using it so you think its op

1 답변Well it takes 5 headshots to get a kill, 1 less than auto rifles. And if they should "balance" they have to nerf at least 10% which will make kinda big impact on pve...

4 답변I don't really care if it gets nerfed into the ground I got my highest killstreak of 20 with a rare hand cannon, the painted big chief The Vex is only good when you play clever, but then so is every other weapon if you play to their strengths Shotguns still -blam!- Other auto rifles can still kill the Vex user if they hit you first, how it should be You'll still die by instant exploding grenades And rockets And HMGs And supers You have no chance against snipers Proper fusion rifles will still destroy you People can still double melee you to death when you hip fire them The range makes it ineffective at targets further away, the recoil stops you getting greedy with full auto These are just a few points. Any decent player will lure you into their weapons strengths. It's how they succeed

Pvp should always be balanced and at you ppl talking "it should be op cause exotic bla" Take a look at wow, there were Exotics and Set items for every class but they still stood balanced! In pvp u have to keep the balance or u can delete pvp from the game cause its useless. !!!!!!!
