Vex mythoclast still a bit OP in PvP
I was playing a Venus rumble and multiple other games with this random guy was using the mythoclast and was destroying me at every range on that map. I was using my shadow price and I switched over to my mida but it was such a small map it didn't help.
at one point he got 5 kills in about 3 seconds with that.
I understand it's the hardest gun to get but the PvP should be "balanced" as the game claims it is.
Which since its iron banner I could care less but regular PvP it's like pre nerf suros
It shouldn't be nerfed for PvE
*Edit 1 they either buffed or ninja buffed the impact on the vex because a lot of people are saying it's hitting harder and there are videos on it showing the numbers.
*Edit 2 there has been at least easily 30 or more people who said this gun is op just in this thread from what I've seen so far I can't reply or read all replies. Because there are over 900 of them I would say 300 of them are me replying.

4 답변I get that the crucible is supposed to be balanced. I really do and yeah, it sucks that it isn't really balanced at all. I don't think that nerfing individual weapons is the answer though. Hell, I don't know if there is an answer. I have no idea how the crucible leveling was ever supposed to work in the first place but tweeking weapon stats is probably the worst way to fix the problem I can think of. It would be easier and more balanced to create completely different weapon profiles for every gun. One for pvp and one for pve. The pve would be as is and the pvp would make each weapon class do the exact same dot across the board. The question then is how fun is that to play? I get owned in the crucible as a matter of course. I don't blame weapon stats or even b.s. crucible leveling that doesn't exist. It's me. I'm not very good at pvp. Case closed. When a guy is killing me every 4 seconds, I make it my mission to kill him in the most humbling way possible at least once. For example, stickk g him with a trip mine lobbed from halfway across the map. Or pulling a crazy Ivan as he's chasing me and drilling him between the eyes with a throwing knife. If it takes me 15 deaths to do that I don't care. Mostly because this game is fun for me. Its not my job or my marriage or some other important life thing so I don't sweat it.

Load of crap, I have it, a couple actually, and it's outclassed by nearly all the popular choices, thus I don't use it. It's a mid range, crappy scope and low ammo reserve novelty weapon, you go head to head with any decent handgun, or auto rifle, you will lose. It's just his skill was greater than yours in that environment, period.

Its not even my favorite gun in PvP I like my shadow price hawkmoon or mida. Who ever was killing was most likely just better than you. The beating I'm sure would have been worse using some other fusion rifle or something else suited primarily for close quarters. I get beat my people with the vex sometimes and sometimes I beat people with the vex. I don't believe its over powered

3 답변The vex wasnt buffed in pvp lmao they fixed the bug that cuased the nerf to be closer to 50% than the 30% it should have been. Its still behind the suros. If you use a crap legendary ar like shadow against exotic wtf do you expect but to get ripped.

Don't worry about these immature people, you're right, the gun is OP. I have one and I've started using it whenever someone else in my lobby is too (rumble). Otherwise, I'll end up losing, not because that player is more skilled than I am, but because I can't win against the gun in a straight up gunfight unless the person using it really sucks.

I like the one guys comment lets just all have one gun and everyone be equal. If guns weren't better than others there would be no variety. Stupid stupid stupid post. People like you shouldn't even play a game that offers variety.
