Vex mythoclast still a bit OP in PvP
I was playing a Venus rumble and multiple other games with this random guy was using the mythoclast and was destroying me at every range on that map. I was using my shadow price and I switched over to my mida but it was such a small map it didn't help.
at one point he got 5 kills in about 3 seconds with that.
I understand it's the hardest gun to get but the PvP should be "balanced" as the game claims it is.
Which since its iron banner I could care less but regular PvP it's like pre nerf suros
It shouldn't be nerfed for PvE
*Edit 1 they either buffed or ninja buffed the impact on the vex because a lot of people are saying it's hitting harder and there are videos on it showing the numbers.
*Edit 2 there has been at least easily 30 or more people who said this gun is op just in this thread from what I've seen so far I can't reply or read all replies. Because there are over 900 of them I would say 300 of them are me replying.

1 답변작성자: bolodrog0 12/8/2014 6:16:46 AMive been playing against mythos and they are not op at all, i have 1 and i dont use it because it doesnt have range. The same thing with the shotguns, if you dont want to get killed everytime you find one then dont rush the map and stay away from enemies.

작성자: teeheelee 12/7/2014 10:09:57 PMIt is significantly better now and amazing up close. I don't use it though, don't like the feel of it. Thorn/dyk much more satisfying REALLY annoying to be killed by it for some reason haha Wouldn't say it was OP, pretty much on the edge.

4 답변The 323 has no affect on pvp, only the stats do (range, stability, RoF, impact, etc.). This is why some lvl 8 with green n blue weapons can still take out a max 30 using legendary guns. It was only buffed do PVE.

3 답변작성자: Spoof 12/7/2014 8:50:59 PMI don't have the vex and i believe it should be OP. They didn't buff it in PvP only PvE, it is still nerfed in PvP. If he managed the kills, that just means he is good. Plus there is a way to reload without going through the whole animation. It's just like COD and Halo. As soon as you see the Ammo full in the clip just double tap y real fast and you can skip the animation. Ever think that's what he was doing and was able to react faster than you? I have atheons epilogue and I've killed 5 people without reloading. I have also killed plenty of people with the vex while they were shooting me, so your excuse is invalid, just gotta have faster reflexes. Please stop whining and complaining.

The patch notes for reference, it DID receive PVP buffs it did not need: [quote]Vex Mythoclast Attack Power increased to 323 (from 300) [b]Base Damage increased, fixing bug we introduced in previous patch[/b][/quote] As usual with highly unpopular changes which screw the majority of the player base, they call it a "bug" that mytho was actually not an IWIN button. Mytho did NOT need the base damage increase it received, which from the circulating figures appears to be 7-9%. A change of 6% brought scouts from trash to highly competitive. vex mytho was highly competitive BEFORE receiving 7-9%
