So earlier, my friends and I were helping a clan member get through the normal raid. We were all lv30 except for our 27 friend so I figured it would be more than easy. After we raised the spire, I took my sparrow through the entrance as per usual, past the chest, and worked my way down to the top of the Templar's Well. I sat up there in my sparrow while everyone else jumped down because my dad needed some help outside. When I came back, they had already killed the templar and I was still up top on my sparrow. So, I made my way down to the main entrance to the gorgons maze, and although I survived most of the falls, the last huge drop to the bottom blew up my sparrow. Now I was thinking, how effective do you think a pike would be in certain sections of the vault? If I could get a sparrow that far, I'm sure if someone found the roving band of pikes, they could bring one into the vault. Do you think it would be effective for defending the confluxes? Could you sneak past the gorgons in one? This is just theoretical, obviously, since it would be way too much of a hassle to find the pikes and sneak them in.
