The people who play Destiny are awesome.
Tonight, I came back to my controller after a break. My Warlock was where I left him, in the Tower enjoying the lawn near the Postmaster. Seated around him in a semi-circle were three other Guardians. I broke into a dance and they leaped to their feet to follow suit.
And, that's how I came to play a Raid with five total strangers. The simplest of interactions led to the most complicated challenge in the Director.
Granted, we had plenty in common. We were all veterans of the Vault of Glass, with the exception of the one among them who was being taught the art of raiding in Destiny. I followed their lead while they explained the basics. The front door was popped in no time, and we were on our way.
This was my (I think) 9th raid across two platforms - and the first time I had jumped into hell alongside unknown human elements. At every stage, patient tutorials were given. Death was met with words of encouragement and quick revives. These people were working together so well. Even teleportations that didn't go as planned were adapted to as they improvised to sudden shifts in battle conditions.
In the end, we triumphed over evil.
People like to talk a lot about this community. They say that we're toxic. They say it's too hard to find good allies. I don't believe it. I have invited many of you to play Destiny with me, and I've never been disappointed. Tonight, I accepted your invitation and it was awesome.
Certainly, we can always try to be a little more excellent to each other, but you don't have to travel too far to find great people who need friends to join them starside. Sometimes, they're staking you out when you come back from post-Crucible intermission.

So many good times and good laughs with people from all over the world! I've never experienced anything like it!!!! :D Thank YOU for making it possible and repping the community - there ARE noble Guardians out there - and they are great people!!! I LOVE the raid I LOVE Destiny I LOVE my life right now :)

Could we get more community managers that reach out to players and bridge the gap? Or is it a grand plan to have a single channel to route all that work through... Would be especial nice with someone whos "european" as most of the time I play the community seems to sleep, I got like a 10 hour time diffrence to Seattle! Great post btw and a nice gesture by example, love it.

I've never once come across a group with members that represent the toxic forum pests. It took me until a few weeks ago to get a group of players I raided with consistently, and I still join random parties. In no way do the whiners represent the actual in game Destiny community.

Deej, Thank you for that last night, I was one of your raiding partners, not having my family around for Thanksgiving kind of made it a shitty day... up until you joined our fireteam and then our party. You truly made this a very memorable Thanksgiving. I have to tell you, none of us really thought you were going to join. But we were all so elated and ecstatic when you did, I think you made all of our nights. Thank you once again. I look forward to hopefully raiding with you again in the future.

4 답변So with the new dlc coming, I think it would be completely logical to add in a new game mode: CAPTURE THE SWORD --------------------------------------------------- In this game mode there would be two teams 6v6 on small to medium maps The goal is to hold the sword for the longest period of time, more time held=more points gained, the game would start with the sword spawning in the middle and each team(6v6) would have to make a dash to capture and hold the sword This game mode would be kind of like capture the flag but with the sword of crota, this game mode would provide fast paced action and a constant flow of enemies While wielding the sword the user gets an over shield upon killing the first enemy, and the sword of crota has the same controls as the sword in the mission Please leave thoughts down below Like and bump and hopefully DEEJ or someone from bungie sees this

I conduct myself in a manner that generally flows well with other people both in game and out. Its not the same across the board with other players.
