Tonight, I came back to my controller after a break. My Warlock was where I left him, in the Tower enjoying the lawn near the Postmaster. Seated around him in a semi-circle were three other Guardians. I broke into a dance and they leaped to their feet to follow suit.
And, that's how I came to play a Raid with five total strangers. The simplest of interactions led to the most complicated challenge in the Director.
Granted, we had plenty in common. We were all veterans of the Vault of Glass, with the exception of the one among them who was being taught the art of raiding in Destiny. I followed their lead while they explained the basics. The front door was popped in no time, and we were on our way.
This was my (I think) 9th raid across two platforms - and the first time I had jumped into hell alongside unknown human elements. At every stage, patient tutorials were given. Death was met with words of encouragement and quick revives. These people were working together so well. Even teleportations that didn't go as planned were adapted to as they improvised to sudden shifts in battle conditions.
In the end, we triumphed over evil.
People like to talk a lot about this community. They say that we're toxic. They say it's too hard to find good allies. I don't believe it. I have invited many of you to play Destiny with me, and I've never been disappointed. Tonight, I accepted your invitation and it was awesome.
Certainly, we can always try to be a little more excellent to each other, but you don't have to travel too far to find great people who need friends to join them starside. Sometimes, they're staking you out when you come back from post-Crucible intermission.
Good games, wherever you are. Thanks for the boots and the shards.

6 답변I hear deej was talking about made up chest locations or something and by the end of it he was trying to goof that there some 16+ chests hidden in the vault. I'm willing to bet at least 1 of those lies he was telling was the truth. That's why he kept adding on to it. Anyone know the tags of the people that he played with ? Would love to hear what Deej was saying during the raid.

I like the fact that you want communication in an MMO-FPS-FPRPG (First Person Role Playing Game XD), but would it kill you all for an offline mode? I went to visit with family over Thanksgiving and they didn't have a form of Wi-Fi to hook up to, and if I used the Ethernet cord to hook my 360 to their internet, they'd be without...well internet. =/ I think an offline mode would be awesome for Destiny so people could just play the game and when (and if) they want to play with others they can turn themselves back online. Either do that like you guys did with the voice chat, or do kind of like Borderlands where you add an option to the pause menu. Other than that, I'm looking foward to the Dark Below (hope it isn't as bland as the game is now lol), and if you're ever on the 360 or Xbox One (when I get one) look me and my friends up! :D

How to fix the gunsmith!! Pros of gunsmith: 1) help out with exotic bounties 2) give (free) starter guns 3) heavy ammo synthesis However, crucible/vanguard master could easily do this things too. What the community wants: We the destiny community need easier time obtaining materials (such as Helium Filaments, Relic Iron, Spinmetal, and Spirit Bloom) for upgrade weapons and armors. (Even you said that "We want to see more people on the tower!") Therefore, the gunsmith should sell these materials to upgrade our stuff. How to balance the supply of materials: The gunsmith should be able to sell only one of these materials at a time. And it is randomly changed every 3 hours. And the cost of it should be high (but not too high). Maybe 50 materials for one strange coin, 70 for one mote of light, or 35 for 1500 glimmer. Furthermore, you could make the currency used to purchase these materials randomized (too keep things interesting) or (even better) make the price random (to an extended)! This way the players will think twice before purchasing the materials. They will always wonder could there be a better deal in the next 3 hours. Further explanation for noobs: random material:
(ex. Helium Filaments, next 3 hours: Spinmetal, next 3 hours: Relic Iron, next 3: hours Spinmetal, next 3 hours: Spirit Bloom
Random price
50 materials for one strange coin, next 3 hours: 70 for one mote of light, next 3 hours: 50 materials for one strange coin, next 3 hours: 35 for 1500 glimmer
Randomized price
45 materials for one strange coin, next 3 hours: 65 for one mote of light, next 3 hours: 70 materials for 2 strange coin
