Sick of 30 only runs
I don't understand the point of people not letting 29's into hardmode VoG. I'm sick of not getting into groups and not being able to do hardmode. I only need the helmet to get to level 30, but none of my friends are ready to do hardmode so I have to resort to finding random groups but people won't invite me cause I'm only level 29. Does anyone else have this problem?

5 답변This have been said many of times. 29 has a 30% damage reduction and you also get one shoot killed by line rifles. In hard you can not revive. One person short make the whole team wipe most of the time. You also can't use the relic as it does no damage in the portal. That is why.

1 답변My group has no problem bring in level 29 or under. We helped a level 27 completed her first hard mode VoG last night. She only did the raid once on normal. We had 3 level 30's, 2 level 29's, and 1level 27. Kill Atheon in 3 teleports with no wipe.

Yo i am 30 and run just about a full team of 30s. But if we need more players i see nothing wrong with having 29s on the team. I know wat I'm doing and as long as you do then its all good u know wat i mean. Think of it this way bro. If a team of 30s wont let u in cuz ur level then that most likely shows that they aren't that good and need all the help they can get to beat it. If they were good then letting in 29s shouldnt hinder them at all.

Yes I do 30 only runs, only because it's usually faster and I only have a few spare hours after work, on a weekend when I have more time I have no objections to letting a 29 in Aslong as they have 1400+ defence and at least one 300dmg weapon.

1 답변I often find the 30s in the group are as clueless as level 20s. Also they shouldn't have an excuse. 'Oh I got killed in the portal, whoops I missed my jump to the middle.' The elitism is totally unjustified. An idiot is still an idiot 30 or not.

A 29 with experience and decent weapons is fine, but honestly until you hit 30 you have no idea how big the gap is. I got my Hunter to 30 and the hard raid is still unforgiving at times, I got my Warlock up to 29 and tried and was shocked at how easily I was dying and how little damage I was doing. Going back to Normal with the Warlock until I hit 30. Need an exotic helmet though.

I have a 30 hunter and 29 warlock, did 1 hard raid with my warlock but I wouldn't be upset for people rejecting me because I am 29. In general with all thing being equal things seem to go better when more 30's are on the team. If you feel 30's are not needed for hard then start a 29 only hard mode raid and get all the other 29's that complain about not getting into hard mode should be easy to form a 29 only group.
