Your Iron banner rank, also what you learned???
Well I've worked my but off to get to rank 5, and finally buy that golden shader. Let me say well worth it. Iron banner was a challenge. I did good in it. But I also learned how much you need to rely on team mates. Im a solo guy, going on my own, but iron banner you need someone to tag along with yea. But now I'm done with the iron banner, and wondering who is still working on it, who has finished it, and what you have learned.
Edit: Wow so much people still posting. All I could hear all day was my phone buzzin. Was awesome though everytime I herd it buzz. :D

I just play to see how my gear matches up and well... For rewards. The RNG is cool with me... I got like 5 legendaries, a few coins, about 15 motes of light, a few new ships, cloaks, and a ton of rare engram's to assist in ranking with the crytarch.

I made rank 5, which was suprising to me as i was away with the kids for a couple of days. the last level was a grind for as i was really trying to hit 5 then buy the AR but i didnt have enough glimmer so i went and farmed for some then went i went back to the tower and BLAM! iron banner was over. Got the icon and the titan mark aswell as peruns fire and when i hit rank 5 i got the exotic bounty for bad juju (which i already have) What i learned from this IB is. my super pox VLO owns. I was actually better at it then i thought i would be. (dont play much crucible) Patience and time is excellent. I hate blade dancers. i hate every 1 who uses a suros regime (onced i switched from juju to my pox vlo they werent much of a problem)

I played the first iron banner. The one where you only needed rank 3. I got the timurs lash, and jolders hammer, all the shaders. After that I was done. Wasn't interested in the weapons. There's always better or their equal out there. I learned that I hate grinding. And playing crucible for one week straight really takes a toll on you. Never again...

작성자: GoldenArms27 12/24/2014 9:39:45 AMI hit rank 5 on Monday, picked up both emblems and both shaders, plus got the ship and Perun's Fire (fusion rifle) for an end of match reward. I had a blast mostly but there were some frustrating times. I learned a few things too. 1) Almost nobody uses team chat, still! 2) Carrying randoms to victory or topping the score in a winning game gets old after a while. 3) Iron Banner is sadly, still a Suros Regime circle jerk, especially because of the "Get 20 headshots with an auto rifle" bounty. It should just be 20 Headshots period. Or rotate it between hand cannon, scout rifle and auto rifle. Getting killed by scrubs with the easy mode AR certainly got tiresome after a couple of days. 4) All the bounties are easier than I thought, I completed them all each day that I played IB, which wasn't every day of the week but certainly 3-4.

Got rank 5 by Thursday night on my character then rank 3 on my warlock in 4 hours Sunday. Silimar's wrath is getting slept on. I automatically reforge the IB weapons I get just to see what can roll on it with different combinations. With counterbalance, perfect balance and persistence and a red dot that adds stability to it. Melting people with crit shots seems really easy since the gun has a vertical recoil. Gun is really fun to use. Sniper is shitty though imo. 3 shot low rof shit storm. D: EDIT: I didn't take the time to use the sniper much just initial thoughts**

2 답변I made rank 4 on two different characters last time, but I skipped this one. Honestly? I think the only things I learned were that Suros is indeed far too effective at long range, blink is totally overpowered, and fusion rifles are completely broken. I briefly abused the heck out of each one of those things, and it wasn't even fair. My normal crucible K/D is unimpressive (1.4-1.6), but in IB I average something like 2.0+.

Probably hit rank 5 today or tomorrow. Need to do some glimmer farming for xur exotic upgrades and the AR. Bought the armor and the sniper and had the scout and that ugly ass ship drop. Wouldn't mind the fusion dropping for me but I doubt it. I can count on less than one hand the number of legendary weapons have dropped for anyone on my team. Too bad Bungie is too lazy to make IB more than 1 mode with only 4 maps with the same 6 bounties every day.

I accidentally rerolled mine trying to pick up the tempered buff. Was multitasking and not paying attention to what I was doing. After the initial feeling of dread I realized the only perk that changed was surplus, swapped for unflinching. I have leveled it to all but the last damage upgrade and can confirm it is amazing. It deals crazy firefly damage I believe because firefly deals a percentage of the initial precision shot. And this sniper having the highest impact of any in the game is going to deal the most damage with firefly. I was used to the effect on my praedyth's but this is way better. I suggest if you're unhappy with your roll, farm some glimmer and buy another. It is a really solid weapon as is.

Also, I'm running it with my fully upgraded Rare Silvered Hushwind (because of the 20 AR headshots Bounty) because it fires slower when zoomed and causes additional damage, and I'm doing pretty good. I had a new stat Rare AR and my old one does more damage. So Bungie were right when they said 'lower levels with fully upgraded weapons should still be considered a viable threat'. I am proof to that. Although, I am level 28 now, but in the last IB I was only 20-21 I think and I did the same. I really wish it was a permanent playlist.
