So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.

I got the entire raid set except for pulse riffle and vex... I also bought the IB gear cause of the stats for int. disc. The raid gears that dropped for me didn't come with the stats i wanted and i have multiples of gauntlets boots and chest plates The current raid gear perks wont mean anything in the hive raid so nannybungie is just helping those catch up fairly so us lvl 30's can find more lvl 30's to do the raid with... IB wasn't easy for everyone cause not everybody had could win since us lvl 30's were dominating and shutting everyone else down to rank up to the max rank in 4days tops so getting up to the gloves couldn't have been a fun grind for them so show some respect to those who did.

So? Like we say in Spanish : the one who doesn't cry, never get milk. I suppose you got plenty of time to do the raid. Nobody forced you, and I see you enjoy the game. Others also like the game, but have busy lives and can't do the raid many times. Others prefer the pvp experience, so now they can get the gear they need to achieve level 30. Everybody pay a price for this game so they got the right to achieve level 30. I think bungie do well if they please all kinds of players.

So my question is what if they were lvl 30 weeks before the iron banner and they decided to put on the IB gear because the stats are better, does that mean they're not a real 30???... What a joke! Gear from events should help you get to higher in lvl otherwise their would be no reason to use the gear from said event (queens wrath gear for example is worthless)

6 답변This is a silly notion. I I had to create 3 hunters, delete 2, and build 2 more, and complete 35 raids between them to try to get a full set of raid gear. I have the vex and every piece of gear from the VoG except for the timepiece, foil, and boots. When I had the opportunity to get level 30 through iron banner, I jumped at the chance. I HATE PvP and grinding for that IB rep was like bashing my head against a wall but I got it and I earned my level 30. So anybody who calls that a welfare 30 can just fvck right off.

I'd have to disagree with you sir. Especially after viewing your PVP stats. The crucible isn't for everyone but, for those who can play it and do well at it, is testament to their playing abilities. Playing against a program is much different than playing against another human being. It takes skill, patience and determination. It's not a slot machine you get to pull the handle on and hope for the best. You've either got it or you don't. Some people are naturally good and others, like myself are hardened FPS veterans. So, before spouting some idiocy about charity, go to the crucible or IB and see what kind of charity awaits you. I had the raid gear. Boots and gauntlets and I canned them both for the crucible gear because it looks better. Just my opinion. And good luck getting IB gear for three different characters. Vault gear is much easier to acquire.

1 답변I am more proud of Iron Banner gear than I am of Raid gear to be honest. I can do the raid 30times and not get a piece or once and get every single piece. Iron Banner I actually had to work towards a sure reward. And not only that, fight other players to get it.

U didn't grind shit you cheesed the raid in 2 minutes so STFU .and you have finished the raid what 4 times .IB players have earned their gear pricks like you got lucky! u seem to be so mad that people got to level 30 due to skill .

So that "welfare" 30 that you saw would still have to run the raid. He wasn't as lucky as you to get all the armor he needed so what? IB armor still needs to be earned and fought for just as much as raid armor. So the fact that you turn your nose up at anyone who didn't earn their level 30 according to your standards is well... pathetic. I feel sorry for you I really do. The sad fact is that you don't PVP and looking at your stats it is pretty obvious why you turn your nose up at people who do. You are jealous and of people who can PVP and do well at it. If you want to keep having this attitude towards people who PVP go right ahead. If you want to turn your nose at people who get to 30 with some gear they got in IB, go right ahead. If you want to keep posting your rantings about what is "welfare" on the Bungie forums, go right ahead. Its your right. But what i don't understand is how someone who is only level 27.... someone who wears Queen's Wrath legendaries... someone who isn't level 30 himself... can say anything to anyone about what a level 30 should be? But you should probably know this: When you post stuff like this on an open forum people are either going to hate you or think you are pathetic. Is this how you want people to look at you?

It took me a while to get to 4 on IB, then I had to have the glimmer. So the gear isn't "gifted" or "welfare" gear, it just wasn't rng loot, which for some people the rng in the VoG has been unforgiving and it has been giving people the same rewards over and over again. In my opinion the gear in the IB is more of an earned reward than the VoG.

What's everyone's average time taken to level to rank 5? Over 12 hours of straight play? Been raiding for about 8 weeks at about 1.5 hours per clear for hardmode. So I'd actually say Ib takes longer just to get 2p. And you're fighting people vs ai so it's not like it's a fkn free food stamp they go cash in. I say hell yea to the people grinding IB. You've easily put in as much time/effort as the rest of us with 30s. Grats on your boots/gloves. Now git yer asses in the crucible so I can shoot em off! 😀
