So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.
Edit: WELFARE IB GEAR CAME INTO EXISTENCE FOR ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ONLY....CRYING AND CRYING TO BUNGIE IN POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST ON THESE VERY FORUMS FROM DEPRESSED 29 CRYBABIES. YOU CRIED TO NANNYBUNGIE AND THEY GAVE YOU CHARITY.

I have the so called charity boots. I worked hard for them. Just like I worked my ass off in raids to get the raid boots but they never dropped. Actually the raid boots are easier to get. Just do it on normal and if your lucky with rng you get them. A normal raid at 29 woth other good players can get done very quickly. But to rank up to level 3 on iron banner playing against very good people is more difficult. So actually your raid boots were more charity since normal is so damn easy. If it's tough work for you then you suck.

2 답변Whoever the guy was you saw he probably worked at it harder than you to get to level 30 from looking at your stats. Tou haven't done the raid as many times as most people on here so you dont know what its like to do it more than 10 times and only get ascendant mats and chatterwhite.

3 답변Lol I have raid gear and iron banner gear, I hate pvp so much but wanted those boots for lvl 30, don't try to call me a scrub I put my time in on the raid over 3 characters, the boots took a day to get so yes easy to get, but doesn't make a "welfare" player. Some people have bad luck and this was there chance to catch up. There is not a SINGLE person in this game that has "earned" lvl 30, so...

1 답변I got to rank 4 quickly in one day for Iron Banner. Only put 4 hours into Iron Banner the first day it started. Then I got to rank 5 on the next morning day. But since I was already at rank 3 when IB 2.0 happened, I still say that IB is something you earn other than the VoG. I already had my raid gear, but I like the IB gear better. Stop complaining about them getting IB gear that wasn't RNG unlike the raids or nightfall.

4 답변I saw a sucker guardian with 70 raids completion, three pieces of raid gear and an exotic helmet. He tried to come up to use iron banner guys but we don't get down with people who play an easy ass PVE raid 3 times a week and barely get shit. We know what we want, and if it's available, we go get it no questions asked. Now that I've worked for my prize, I'll go back to owning goblins with 1 shot to the chest and see what the raid GIVES me since nothing from it is EARNED. Have a good day!

3 답변lol so how's it any less work to do PVP for gear? People grind however they want, maybe they raid...maybe they don't. Who says your way of getting it, is any more admirable than someone elses way of getting it? If they had implemented the PVP gear to 30 at launch, would you have cared then? Doesn't really matter anyway.

6 답변Lol.... RNG= handouts (welfare) Busting your ass for hours in a game type you don't even like= work (earned) Doesn't seem to hard to understand. Some of us dont have very good RNG luck and decided to actually work to get our boots and/or gauntlets.

Luckily i didn't have to grind raid i pretty much got all my raid gear in one run, but there are time where raid never gives you any gear and you get nothing but ascendant materials thats what kept happening to my titan ran raid so many time never got raid boots so i was glad IB had some
