So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.

Grinding to level 4 to get the gear and staying even longer to get the timur's lash was not easy at all! Welfare? Im checking your pvp stats now, yeah you have absolutely no right to call anyone getting their boots and gloves through pvp welfare on any accounts, just because the raid is supposedly the most difficult pve part of the game, who is the one showinf off again? Lets see you get in iron banner i bet youd get crushed dude.

I have full raid set and I want the iron banner stuff to, fed up of everyone looking the same at lvl 30. In any other game low lvl players see high levels and say wow there armour looks amazing I cant wait to get it, in this game its the opposite.

I for one can say raid gear is luck... I have played since day 1 as a hunter and was stuck at level 29. I was missing boots... I started a warlock and got to level 27 in a couple of days. My warlock got a purple helmet engram that turned exotic. I ran a normal raid once and got the other 3 pieces I needed for 30... Months later IB2.0 came out and I bought the boots for my hunter. He finally saw level 30 and the first hard raid loot he saw after that was the boots... I have to disagree. Some people are extremely unlucky with the loot system. One normal raid on MY ALT got me to 30. 10 normal raids and 3 hard raids on my hunter got me to 30 ONLY AFTER getting 30 through the IB. I agree most loot should be achieved through raid. It won't hurt if people get the option to buy the 1 piece they have been missing for a couple of months. Maybe 2 if you're that unlucky. At least the helmet and chest piece still requires raid time...

So who cares how he got to level 30?? And how do you know he didn't grind raid and gotten the raid boots and gauntlets already?? What if he using the IB gear because its better for his build? This post just proves you dont look at the bigger picture. The leveling in this game is different compared to other games. Your gear is important for your build regardless of where it comes from.

1 답변In the raid you stumble across gear at random. No skill required, simple as that. In Iron banner you earn the right to buy the gear after WINNING against other players many times.

11 답변So let's say I like using auto rifles as my main weapon of choice regardless of which one I use (mainly suros, with a shadow price, atheons epilogue, and a Vanquisher VIII as back up legendaries depending on what's needed for the situation). Now imagine as a hunter who has done the raid and gotten the raid gear except for the helmet from Hard mode and am just waiting for at least an exotic helmet to reach 30 before I get the helmet at all from raid. Now we know that none of the hunter raid gear from my description of my play style match how I play normally (giving boosts to special weapon and heavy weapon ammo). Your telling me if I actually worked to get those leg and arm piece from the Iron Banner, that instead of being a "true level 30", I would be a charity case because I would prefer those from IB because they fit my normal play style giving auto rifle bonuses than what the raid gear gives even though I could still own them and just not have them on?

I did the Iron Banner for the weapons, and bought a couple pieces of armor because I like the style and perks. I will say that a never wear it around in public tho, and it was super easy to get to rank 4 especially with the tokens and tempered. The weapons really are worth getting tho.

Just let it be. Momma always said if you don't have something to say then keep your -blam!-ing mouth shut. P.s. I have two 30s with raid gear

I have both.... literally all the raid gear and all I need is rank 4 on my titan (rank 3.5 atm) farm glimmer and bam I'll have all the gear that can be used to hit 30 except the heart of praxic fire. Still hoping to get that from nightfalls or xur...

7 답변So today i saw a common cave troll, its typing skills were vague at best, it typed something like this: "Me Eternal Napalm, Me God of RNG, bow puny Iron banner winners" I immediately knew this troll was a simple cave dweller with no real game knowledge, grimoire score of less than 2000 and with only four raids to boast. This simpleton even tried to claim it was his "hard" work that got his gear with a less than 6.0 k/d for the raid...tisk tisk, and all I could think after seeing this pitiful troll was "Go back to your cave, troll at least your opinion matters in there"

Your gear is all random! Like pulling the level on a slot machine! I have 8 normal clears VOGlitch and several hard oracle and Templar drops. Stuck at 29 with two sets of raid arms and legs...I just hit IB rank 3, doesn't matter as I have arms and legs, and it's work as well grinding that out...
