So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.
Edit: WELFARE IB GEAR CAME INTO EXISTENCE FOR ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ONLY....CRYING AND CRYING TO BUNGIE IN POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST ON THESE VERY FORUMS FROM DEPRESSED 29 CRYBABIES. YOU CRIED TO NANNYBUNGIE AND THEY GAVE YOU CHARITY.

2 답변I really don't understand the gripe about IB gear.. Raid gear is and always will be better because of the perks, level 30 is just to get people ready for the dlc raid.

With the lopsided matchmaking(joined by myself only to be put in a lobby against a full team) and the need to actually win in order to build your rep(which can be difficult since most randoms seem to have no idea how to play control), its not right to say someone didnt earn it or are not a real 30. Its just different ways of getting there and personally some raid gear is hideous so its a good way to mix and match for some limited customization.

19 답변Dude stfu and get over yourself. You are not a "real" 30 if anything the iron banner armor deserves more recognition than you. That means that player has been grinding and whoopin ass in the crucible to be a rank 4 already. Your raid gear was random luck you -blam- Your skill (if you have any) has absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G to do with your raid gear. You got lucky. For all we know you've had your ass carried through every raid you've been through. I really hope you're just trolling because if not I am purely shocked at your stupidity

Please tell me how in the world going to work for minimum wage and saving up for a car is being handed a welfare car and yet winning the lottery from buying tickets to a special lottery (guarantees you something, but very possibly not the car you want) with that same minimum wage money is earning it.

4 답변Here are some facts: 1. Many players are lucky and achieve a complete set of Raid in just two or three Raids. I even got the complete set with my Titan in just three Raids, one in normal and two on Hard. 2. The time invested to achieve the ranking and glimmer (which is a lot) to buy the armor in Iron Banner, is much greater than the time invested in two or three Raids. The Raid you do only once or twice a week, while the Iron Banner you need to play EVERY DAY for many hours to get the ranking in the short time of one week. With my Hunter, it took me 10 Raids to get the complete set, and even then I think those who attain the level 30 with Iron Banner armor, is equally or more deserving than me.

I have been cursed by the RNG Gods and have been blessed by nothing but VOG gauntlets, so, yes I've spent the last week tryin to get to lvl 3 to get my boots. I suck at PvP, hate it with a passion and it has been a torturous grind. It was work, and a lot more than VOG. Give the IB players a break.

1 답변I have all raid gear after a painful 2 months and I'm happy they've made it possible for people who just can't seem to get their gear through the raid; able to get it from IB. My "real lv30" means nothing. It's just a pretty number. To all of you grinding banner against full teams in IB, I say kudos, gents. It's more grinding than I did.

I've done both...the banner is harder and the raid is a joke in comparison; I would invite a 30 with banner gear into my raid before you because I can trust they can kill a computer successfully since they obviously won the challenge against other human minds Some people are so dense lol (unless you're just trolling)

How many complaints did both Bungie and I read about the lack of diversity in armor for level 30, only to have you through a hissy fit like a child when they give you what you want.
