So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.
Edit: WELFARE IB GEAR CAME INTO EXISTENCE FOR ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ONLY....CRYING AND CRYING TO BUNGIE IN POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST ON THESE VERY FORUMS FROM DEPRESSED 29 CRYBABIES. YOU CRIED TO NANNYBUNGIE AND THEY GAVE YOU CHARITY.

Has it occurred to you that most of the people in IB have had such bad luck in the raid that it was the only way to 30, Iv been stuck at 29 for over a month :( I got the boots so I can finally do hard without being a burden on my team :)

12 답변What do you mean welfare? You put 1,000 times more effort into iron banner gear than raid gear, and they're not RANDOM. I'd rather salute a man who worked for his shit than got lucky as hell in the raid, which gets done in 30 minutes, and can give all gear but helmet.

You completed the Raid 4 times. You're very lucky to get all your raid gear in 4 runs. I recently joined a clan who has run the raid since it launched and they still don't have all their gear. I've run it 6 or 7 times now and only have two pieces of the raid gear.

2 답변I have put in almost the same time in the vault as you and have 0 raid gear. You only beat it 4 times. I have finished it once. I don't play the raid very often at all, so I don't thing you should be sitting on you 'raid gear' throne pointing fingers at ppl who want a guaranteed payoff. We still won't be able to get lvl 30 without a raid chest or helm so what's your issue really? You got lucky and are a snob and feel ENTITLED to the randomly generated gear you got in 4 completions. Get over yourself.

Love reading these cry baby forums. You're sad I've gotten my boots from IB. Awe muffin. Too bad I've beaten the raid so many times on different characters and accounts and have never received raid boots. Have gotten all raid gear except those boots. Got a mythoclast, fatebringer, praedyths revenge, but no boots. Beat raid on hard yesterday got chest peice and 2 Helmets! You keep taking those random chances while I actually Earn the 1 piece of gear I needed to make me a 30. Charity Case Out.

Its kind of sad how u r a jerk for saying something like this cause I have run the raid about 14 times and what have I to show for it one chest piece. So get off ur high horse u blaming sob u probably ran the raid 2 times and got a full set. So sorry if I want to run iron banner or some others what to get up to 30. But I am not mad will just keep trying the raid.

I believe your ideology to be false. While raid gear is given to you by luck, iron banner gear is bought while skill is not required to obtain it. You can be afk for a long period of time and still earn rep and xp. Either way, who gives a shit?

Its just replaying till you get what you want so go away. Edit: also if the point is to get to level 30 everyone would have the same armor and would be boring as hell

I also think your saying this because u struggle to play against a real threat like real players in crucible anyone can beat the raid it just requires luck to get the gear try taking on a lvl 30 with a fully upgraded suros regime and winning as a lvl 27 with a half upgraded shadow price that's skill

2 답변I just don't understand, why all the "earned" and " wellfare" labels out there. Its just a game and everyone earns what they have, save buying it off Xur. We all paid for this game, and either grind hoping for RNG, or play the ladder to gear in IB to get to 30. Trying to say you earned it more than others is just another way of saying, "I'm more special than you.". Childish. Just play YOUR game.

Then there are people that have been raiding every week and have yet to acquire a full set. Getting gear from the Raid isn't working for it. You're just rolling the dice every week hoping that you get lucky. At least with Iron Banner, there's an actual goal to work towards and you know you'll be rewarded for the time that you invest. If you think about it, the level 30 gear from Iron Banner is MORE earned and MORE "real" than the random lucky Raid dropping level 30 gear. Iron Banner gear requires a specific action to be taken with a guaranteed reward if you complete the assigned tasks. That is the definition of working towards and earning something. Raid gear, no matter how you play the Raid, you might get gear and you might not. And let's be honest here, the Raid is just plain not that hard to beat, even on hard.

2 답변I really don't understand the gripe about IB gear.. Raid gear is and always will be better because of the perks, level 30 is just to get people ready for the dlc raid.
