So today I saw a charity level 30
So I was at the Tower earlier and when I arrived I saw someone who I thought was level 30 standing on top of the one building, as if trying to get recognition. I went up there, took a look and saw he had on the welfare boots and gloves from the Iron Banner!!
My stomach instantly churned and I went back down, and met up with two other (real) level 30s and we were checking out each other's gear. This welfare level 30 comes down and approaches us, but we kept walking away lol I think we all recognized he was a welfare recipient.
I feel bad for those who grinded very very hard for your raid gear and NannyBungie turns around and hands it out with minimal effort. And loss tokens! Bahahahaha.
Edit: WELFARE IB GEAR CAME INTO EXISTENCE FOR ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ONLY....CRYING AND CRYING TO BUNGIE IN POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST AFTER POST ON THESE VERY FORUMS FROM DEPRESSED 29 CRYBABIES. YOU CRIED TO NANNYBUNGIE AND THEY GAVE YOU CHARITY.

Iron Banner 30 takes skill and determination as a team. And those lone-wolves who helped dragged the team or brought them back to their feet. Just because RNGesus was nice to you and gave you a piece of raid gear does not mean you're good. I've done the raid about 20 times across my characters. Do I have skill? Yes but no god. Do I have luck? No. I respect IB 30's, may the best player win.

I have only 4 raid completions (1 on hard) but plenty of times in there and still no chest piece. I will continue grinding until I hit 30. As far as the IB is concerned; I watched my son gruelingly (if that's a word) get up to rank 5 and purchase armor he needed for lvl 30. He just completed the raid 1 time and only a few attempts. My hat is off to him and all those who have done the same! Level 30 raiders are just lucky as far as 30 is concerned, though it does take skill, but mostly repetition to achieve 30 in raid. IB is all skill. It is a sad thing to see this kind of attitude towards fellow players.

To say that someone isn't a real level 30 because they have iron banner gear is funny to joke around about but you have taken this to a whole other level. I have friends that ran the raid just as much as I did, maybe they didn't do as well as I but the fact remains that they were still missing some pieces and needed to do iron banner to get them. Do I think any less of them for obtaining their 30 gear through IB? No. Am I an elitist pig such as yourself because RNGESUS smiled upon me and gave me every armor piece several times from the raid? No. Shut the -blam!- up bud. You are not a "Real level 30" You know why? Because you're a joke. Get good, shut the -blam!- up and stop thinking you're the shit because you have a single level 30. Just stop playing destiny. BUMP THIS COMMENT SHUT THIS MOTHER -blam!-ER UP.

I have all the raid gear but choose to wear iron banner gear because it looks cool and gives me boats to two stats instead of one so depending on what you're trying to do it can be better. I have enough level thirty hunter gear for two hunters.

lol, Id like to see you call me a charity 30. I was 30 well before IB came around and I wear the Iron Banner gear because its better. I'd much rather have reload speed on my primary as the secondary I use most often (ice breaker) doesnt reload and is a wasted perk.

As someone who spent 4 months in WoW trying to get one piece of raid gear SO I COULD DO THE NEXT RAID, I laugh at all of your feeble insults and tears of vicious crying. :) I see many of you have your psyche hurt over the fact that IB gear is welfare gear. Sounds like a personal problem :( IB gear did not exist and "would not exist but for this simple fact": THREAD AFTER THREAD, POST AFTER POST OF CRYING, WHINING, BEGGING AND CLAMORING TO BUNGIE ABOUT BEING STUCK AT 29. THE IB GEAR WAS SPECIFICALLY AND ONLY INSTITUTED BECAUSE OF THE TEARS DIRECTED SPECIFICALLY TO THEM. If you can't come to terms with this simple fact, it's because of your own dogma :'( Lololol. I literally have witnessed on numerous occasions first-timers in the raid get full gear and sucked every bit of the way! Just stop it! I have full raid gear and iron banner legs and I prefer my iron banner legs an exotic arms! With raid chest and helmet! Please stop fooling yourself!

I had to play NOTHING but PvP for a week to get the rep and I ALMOST didn't get what I wanted because I had to grind in PvE another few hours to get enough glimmer? How is this gear welfare? The raid gear is by chance....iron banner gear you had to go and pound on other guardians for a very long time!!

I don't know. I was grinding in the vault when I heard someone mention iron banner was coming back. Because I think PvP is fun, I decided to participate. As I hut rank three, I decided to check the stats of the rank 4 weapon when I got distracted by the boots. They looked really cool, so I bought them. As I was upgrading them, I saw it gave me 28 light, but there was still one node remaining. It was them that I realized that these shoes were my ticket to level 30. The point of my story is that iron banner gear is just a faster way of hitting level 30. You're basically bashing people because they like a different pair of designer jeans (literally) than you.

1 답변Dude, try as you might, there is nothing cool or badass or heroic about grinding the raid for your gear. I know, I'm a raid 30 three times over, and I welcomed the iron banner gear. They needed skill, not just a team to carry them. Leave the IB 30's alone and leave your mother's basement once in a while.
