For the love of God how rare is the Birth of History?
I've been playing the Iron Banner non-stop (For as much time as I can put aside) and I've never even seen the ship drop. Am I just really unlucky and it has the same chance as dropping as Timur's and Jolder's, or is it way lower?
EDIT: Since I posted this, I decided to play the Iron Banner for 24 hours straight. I received three Timur's Lashes and one Jolder's Hammer. I have seen three ships drop, but for players near the bottom of the scoreboard. I'm going to take a nap and try to get the Ship on the last day of the event, wish me luck Guardians, because so far it hasn't been on my side.
EDIT 2: Down to the final hours, it's a slap in the face watching one get dropped to the worst player on the team. Please RNGesus, that's the only thing I wanted from the Iron Banner. In other news, I've gotten two more Jolder's and another Timur's since the last edit too.I'm honestly about done with this game. Bungie always said that they wanted us to "earn" our gear, then why can't I "earn" the ship after playing the Iron Banner nonstop, trying my hardest to win because it's the only way to get it to drop, and then watching the players at the bottom get the things I was playing my heart out for? They didn't earn anything, they were given it by your screwed up Drop System. It's the same reason I see so many incredible players stuck at 29 before the Iron Banner came around, it's because of your screwed up system which doesn't make us feel like we earned anything, it's more like "Wow, I was lucky enough to get this." even if you didn't earn it.
EDIT 3: And thus marks the end of the Iron Banner. Didn't get the ship, so I guess I didn't play well enough to earn it. I'll probably be taking a break from this game now, had a blast playing with those who partied up with me and thanks for the fun.

1 답변So... funny/ infuriating story. I also played practically non-stop, never got a single drop. I usually placed in the top 3 or four spots each match. Finally, on the final day I hopped on, joined mid match, did not have any rhythm, got destroyed, last place with 0.5 K/D, got Jolders Hammer... Cool for me... but what about the dudes that carried the entire team? Next match, Titan had wrong perks equipped, still warming up, last place, 0.35 K/D = Birth Of History.... Wot? Don't you see? All you have to do is suck at Iron Banner to get the good stuff. Of course, once I warmed up I couldn't stand to die on purpose so I never received another IB drop. Oh well, Goldspiral looks neat on my Warlock at least.

I was very skeptic of getting any rewards from the Iron Banner but surprisingly I got 2 of each. I tried to get the ship to drop a third time but was unable to with the little time I had left and only being able to find a good team maybe 3-4 times for the last few hours.

Ok loot system actually did me justice by giving me jolder ' s hammer because I did the best on my team. Never saw a ship drop for anyone. Honestly as an aesthetic item it should have just been sold or be given to all rank 5s by the postmaster

Same here. Reached rank five on Friday and kept playing until Monday hoping for the ship but never got it. But by God I got a super sweet set of rare armor now! Ugh. Overall no complaints since I got everything else IB had to offer this time around. I guess the idea is that if everyone had it, everyone's load screens would look like a bunch of air-conditioner-space-junk hurling through space?

1 답변I got the ship just after I hit rank 4. I laughed at it for a while. It looks terrible, but I'm strangely drawn to it.

I hear you man. I farmed both IBs almost exclusively for the ship. I play Destiny with about 10-12 people and 5 of them have ships. None of which invested the time I did. Half of them don't even want them. My mood was extremely sour last night as it grew increasingly clear that I had wasted my time again. It's a damn cosmetic. Let us buy it at rank 5 for 10 strange coins. It'll still be rare but those that want it have a guaranteed way to get it while still being required to invest time. /sigh. So unhappy with this game right now. I wasn't even enjoying IB anymore.

I got the ship and two timurs in playing almost straight since Saturday night. I really wanted jolders haha but it never came to me. (I'm always near the top of the leaderboard to disclaim any of that no skill gets drops)

I presume you've seen an image of it? The ship fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch with its oversized ass on the way down. I only ever saw one drop, it went to a player with a 0.6kd. I can understand if you wanted to have it for the sake of completion but damn.. I'd have the default ship you start with rather than that to be honest.
