Guys, Crota has a sword. Would that be fun?
Enough moaning about Crota looking like a big knight. You're missing a massive clue (at least i hope it's a clue!).
So in the leaked dlc opening cinematic, we see Crota in the middle with his sword.
If the dlc sticks to this then the final fight with Crota is going to be epic!
Can you imagine a fireteam of 6 guardians trying to take down a giant Knight wielding a sword. Running around slicing and dicing you?! If it's like that it will be much more fun and engaging (and will require a solid coordinated fireteam) than the hide and shoot bullet sponge Atheon. Who, let's face it, even on hard mode doing damage to Atheon is the easier part of the raid
So what do you guys think, is that a good idea?
EDIT: hey guys, this is getting some really interesting replies. Seems everyone has their theory who the Knight with the sword is!
Whether it's Crota himself or a summoning knight, I think we all agree a close-quarter fight would be awesome and much enjoyed!

7 답변Did they show atheon when they showed the first vog trailer? If not then that knight probably isn't Croat and just a knight that summons him forth or possibly he's like the Templar, a mini boss.

1 답변In the story "The sword of Crota" it disappeared after defeating the makers. But it never exploded, they just said it was gone. So I think the sword is still bidding somewhere waiting to be wielded by guardians as we smash Crota with his own sword.

4 답변Why would I want to fight an enemy that will just come towards me with a sword while I backpedal away? I'd much rather have a multistage raid boss, that combines a bit of platforming with strategic covering.

1 답변Well everyone has used the Sword of Crota before. It had the power of a traveling shock wave so I will expect the same. I am assuming that crota has a rocket launcher for an arm and a sword in the other while firing magic. He seems like a dark magic knight user which is not surprising given the current magic in destiny

See when I looked into the data for the next raid, I saw some armor peices from the raid that had something called "increase duration of cleansing light" another peice with "increase damage for A item called excalibur, now excalibur in the legends is known as the holy sword of Sir Arther wield. Does ft his have something to do against crotas end?
