If I could recommend anywhere I would immediately say "Samurai Champloo" and "Akira". More would be: FLCL(6 episodes so easy to start with) Full Metal Alchemist Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Evangelion Attack on Titan Naruto Ghost In The Shell Bleach Trigun Cowboy Bebop Elven Lied

2 답변작성자: GANTZ 11/20/2014 11:38:02 AMGANTZ is my favorite anime ever, hard to tell right ? :D other than that check : Neon Genesis Evangelion , Ghost in Shell Standalone complex, Tokyo Ghoul , Swort Art Online and the ones people already suggested below
-
-Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone complex (two seasons of future cyper-punk like police/military action with political schemes, highly recommended) -Cowboy Bebop (Sci-fi bounty hunter stuff, good music) -Log Horizon (people find themselves trapped in a WoW-like mmoprg) -Arpeggio of Blue Steel (sci-fi ship/submarine action with some feelz later on, I shed some manly tears) -Angel Beats (afterlife is a high school and we battle one of God's Angels with rockets, also excellent music)

Sword art online. I'm off and on with anime and I can never find an anime that everyone agrees on with that one exception. It's on netflix. If you are too, maybe try some of their other offerings. Lots of good stuff on therr. Some total shit too though.

1 답변Monster, Mushishi if it comes to series imo. Iam also shocked by so few ppl recommend classics like Akira, Visions of Escaflown, 12 kingdoms for example. Also watch all Satoshi Kon movies. Especially Milleniun Actress, Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers. And ofc checking out Makoto Shinkai movies would be cool. From the newer ones Kill la Kill and from the same producer Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and then Tokyo Ghoul, Psycho Pass. Then just check out anidb.net and look for many others. Use the ranking system to see which ones have the best ratings.

Somone move this to the OffTopic section. Just letting you know, Pokemon, DBZ, naruto, onepiece, Yugioh and etc are all anime. IMO, people who aren't hardcore anime watcher's really enjoy Attack on Titan (In english sub and dub) and Sword Art Online (also in Eng sub and dub).

When I started watching anime people were like "hahaha fuucking nerd you watch Japanese porn".... Now it's all mainstream as hell cause some kid on League of Legends, the shittiest RTS/game ever? What the hell .-. Plus Hentai is great.

2 답변Dbz Kai Attack on Titan Flcl Two lesser known ones that I believe to be really well done with somewhat slow starts - Gungrave (skip episode 1, it raises unnecessary questions showing scenes from later in the series. It's a very good show about a group of kids who are street punks getting by on petty crime but are generally good people, that get involved with an organized crime group. Highly recommended, last episode made me tear up; 5/5) - Speed Grapher ( voice of Piccolo from dbz does the main character; a former war photographer who stumbles upon Japan's seedy underbelly and gets thrown into a supernatural setting; 4.5/5)

Really depends on what you like. A lot of these suggestions I am seeing are great. As a first timer, I suggest reading descriptions of these anime and watching a couple episodes of each to see how well you like them. Any of studio ghibli's anime films are also good starts if you like anime movies. I recommend Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away.
